good work is never rushed and rushed work is never good. i’m learning to take my time and refine my ideas instead of giving in to the content machine that is social media. honing my skills and maturing as an artist is paramount for me. there are levels in this photography game and i’m ready to level up 📸
it’s not that she didn’t feel fear. it’s that this time, she wasn’t going to let it stop her // @olgasafari shot by me

I personally believe asking a photographer what camera he shoots with is like asking a writer what pen he uses. But since so many people ask every day, this was shot on a @sonyalpha a6500 with a 50mm lens at f/1.4 1/200 ISO 100. Tag your photographer friends 📸
Instagram is testing a feature that will hide how many likes a post gets publicly. This, in my opinion, is a massive step in the right direction for the mental health of future generations. I also believe this will have a beautiful impact on the photography community. People will start creating and shooting what they want instead of trying to copy the most popular trends. Artistic freedom from the power of the “like” will change everything 📸 what do you guys think?

Good morning 🌊 Today I want to remind you to go boldly in the direction of your dreams and to do what it takes to make them a reality. I shot this almost 3 years ago at the end of an 8 hour shift driving for Lyft to pay my rent. So put the hours in, get that second job, eat the 89 cent ramen noodles. Work hard, dream big, and trust your direction 📸
if i go more than 24 hours without taking a photo i go crazy. i didn’t have a model this time so i used myself 🤷🏼‍♂️ if you’re trying to learn photography, self portraits can be an awesome solution to not having anyone to practice on 📸
“Self Control” // a short series dedicated to our daily internal struggles. each of us have our own. we all know those voices in our heads that say, “just a bite”, “one more glass”, “a single cigarette” while on the other side we have the voice that urges us not to give in. in these images i simply wanted to recreate that battle being waged between our vices and the defenses our minds build to fight them. can you relate to these? 🍩🍾🚬
photography, in its simplest form, is using light to paint the world the way we see it 📸 // shot yesterday w/ @aavafrisk
