35 years today... More importantly, happy birthday to @junojino and @_jun3y_, and my twin, Tristin.
I’m just thankful... the older I get, the less and less I care about fulfilling my temporary interests vs. making sure my friends and family straight.
Man...what a profound moment in time captured by the homie @mychivas of our boy @stona_mane on his horse / best friend Ebony. This picture evokes so many thoughts...
I think about the days of old before modern civilization, before paved roads and motor transport, when the surface of the land was dirt and Natives traveled the terrain by horseback...wondering what that was like and looking at where we are now and thinking...is it a good or bad thing? I guess it depends on where you sit at the table on this conversation. Perspective really...
I think about the present law of the land and contemporary life... how we move about within the systems that govern us that we [humans] created. Where is everyone coming from? Where are they going? Why so separated and isolated tucked away in those cars, away from experiencing the energies of other humans and nature during travel? Good questions I suppose...
I think about the future...of our planet...the animals...the human species. Are we setting ourselves up to thrive together in harmony, or are we accelerating our path to extinction? Who cares? Who doesn’t? Are we foolish for even thinking about the future at all, to be real nobody can predict it and it could all end tomorrow...right? Then what?
Nobody knows. And because of that reality, we choose to live free. When it’s all said and done, at least we can say we saw the sun, heard the wind, felt the animals and each other...Maybe that’s what life is all about. .
Live in your moment. - @randysavvy
