  • My love for traveling goes beyond any culture shock, post depression, or major health issue I have encountered along the way.

Nothing can keep me from exploring this magnificent world, I will gladly take these challenges and learn from them, but I WILL NEVER stop traveling. 🌍

1️⃣Culture shock is real. It doesn’t always mean you struggle going to a country with far less in terms of resources than your own, but also returning home to a country that has far far more and runs on a much faster, and stressed pace than where you may have been. Give yourself time to adjust.

2️⃣Post depression from traveling. Depression after traveling for long chunks of time is common! Most the time from culture shock, or drastic change in environment you’ve been living in. It takes time to come out of, so find routine and stay busy, but also give yourself time for reflection.

3️⃣Health issues while traveling. This has been the hardest to overcome for me, but it is why living a healthy lifestyle is sooo important even on the go, in the woods, on a 3 month trip to Europe, anywhere, anytime. Every time I’ve traveled, especially abroad my immune systems been threatened causing major health issues to arise. One time it was a bacterial infection, another time full body rash, a swollen gland in my neck, and most recently shingles. Having a healthy immune system while you’re traveling is sooo important because your body goes through many changes in the course of your travels. Your body is changing time zones, you may be eating things you don’t normally eat, drinking more than normal, getting yourself in unfamiliar/stressful situations and environments, which all lower your immune system and put a heavy load on your body.

Over the years of traveling I have learned that NO ONE knows my body better than I do, and NO ONE knows what I’ve been through. So by doing what is best for me, taking the highest quality supplements, and eating a clean diet I can travel with confidence 💕✨🙌🏼
