Pepper would like to address rumors circulating about his involvement with the Dr. Pepper beverage. He is not currently the mascot of the brand but he is certainly not opposed to the idea. #adoptdontshop#mascot#kitty

WE ARE REVIEWING APPLICATIONS NOW FOR PRE-APPROVAL. PRE-APPROVED APPLICATIONS WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY.
We are beyond excited to be partnering, yet again, with the @bissellpets by participating in their EMPTY THE SHELTERS adoption event!
With this GREAT Benefit comes a HUGE RESPONSIBILITY for Almost Home as we advocate for the well-being of our rescued animals. This event is not a 'free for all' *** Per usual, All adoption applicants will need to establish that they CAN and WILL provide a safe, responsible, and loving Forever Home for their pet.***FOR THIS REASON, ANYONE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING FOR THIS EVENT MUST COMPLETE AN ONLINE APPLICATION NOW, IN ADVANCE, FOR A THOROUGH VETTING PROCESS! We will be pre-approving applications that ring true to the values and qualities we look for in adoptors for our rescued animals. These animals have already gone through so much confusion and transition in their lifetimes, we want this adoption to be their last adoption, into a truly devoted Furever Family.
All applicants will need to have a good vet check provided by their veterinarian's office. For those looking to adopt who live in another person's home, the owner of the home must be present to give authorization for a new furry friend to be added to the household. We are asking for a 'FUREVER HOME' commitment from adopters***! Help us Spread the Word www.bissellpetfoundation.org!
Today we added a new member to our little furry family. Clary is a precious little Aussie/spaniel mix & she is a huge bundle of feels. We could not be more excited for this little furry adventure, thank you so much!
Want to help horses in transition, but don't know where to start? The most powerful way to make a difference is by speaking up and talking about adoption. Tell your barn friends, equine professionals and family about all the great benefits that come with adopting their next horse. You can also volunteer and support your local adoption organization. Educating your friends and family about adoption and getting involved in your community can make a big difference for at-risk horses. .

All these years, I had been following various forums for animal adoption and support. Now as I try to write about my dogs and more regularly so, I am often short of words. I have never been good at expressing about them and that's how I and a lot of others have been socialised to not create a 'scene' about irrelevant issues which just reflect on own weaknesses. But I am trying to change that and come forward about my baby steps in the journey.
Of all the moments, the little ones make the most impact, mostly because they were very unexpected and touch us when we have our guards down.
For instance, I saw the pup that you see in the picture the first time outside a certain food store. She was scared and her tail was pressed between her legs. She squealed if anyone came near her. I saw a female dog nearby, but she wasn't her mother. All dogs around her were way more powerful and aggressive towards her. Amid all this, she still wagged her tail when I pet her and gave me the most hear wrenching look.
When I gave her food, she refused to eat for long as she was scared that dogs would come and bite her over it. I have been feeding her now ever since then hoping that I get to see her the next day too. I don't know where to relocate her and where to build her shelter. I don't know if she is strong enough for the roads. The only thing I know is that I very helplessly love her and am going to do whatever I can so that she survives.
Yesterday we introduced #bubbatherednose & Mama dog. Bubba has had a few dog fights & had been labeled as needing to be an only dog. Mama dog is my omega - even the most persnickety dogs don't mind her. I had a feeling they'd do well but actually seeing him roll over & initiate play was awesome. I'm so proud of this hunk 😍
