The Last Avatar - Age of Kalki (1): Vishwas Mudagal
Book Cover: 5/5
Book summary: 4/5
If you are looking for the perfect blend of thrill and suspense with a dash of mythology and modern technological science then this book is what you need to grab next! Right from the beginning the book encapsulates you into a reading spree that gets the pages turning. From AI to weapons, war plans and bot operated missions you have them all. Also, a robotic vanar sena might as well cheer up your day. This book shows how far we’ve comes in the terms of technological science, what our future looks like and how Indian writers have evolved enough to beautifully present complex characters, settings and situations in a way that enchants the reader.
Character development of various characters in the book feels personalized and real. Be it the grandfather-grandson relationship or other sweet moments they always leave you wanting for more. In a way the book exceeds all expectations that one could ever have from a mythological sci-fi book as it is a concept of the West. As I said, this one is a page turner.
The book might appear to start slow however that depends on your personal knowledge about Kalki and what you expect to read. I would like to recommend this book to everyone who is looking for a fresh genre to explore. Also, please make no comparisons between this book and those by Amish, they are totally different!

No matter how much guilt or regret we may feel, the past is gone and cannot be changed. Worrying about the future and things that may never happen is a complete waste of time and energy and takes away our joy. Living in the present moment and seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and touching life consciously and giving all our attention to the NOW makes life enjoyable indeed.
What I’ve been up to for a while.... Next Saturday, February 23rd, I’ll be reading some pages from a memoir I’ve been working on. As it happens, writing a book takes a lot longer than writing a song. I’ve spent most of my life practicing the 3-5 minute framework for an idea, a message, a feeling. This project has been breaking that open, and pushing me into new landscapes. And I’m looking forward to sharing some of that with you. On Saturday I'll join my dear friend @marissaalexk , as we celebrate the launch of her 2nd novel. We'll both do readings and talk about the creative process, and the shared themes of our books (inspiration, adventure, healing) and I'll even share a song or two. Hope you can join us! FEB 23 at 5pm at @vromansbookstore in Pasadena.
I’m sitting on a pile of mistakes I’ve made throughout the years.
My own personal throne.
The pile keeps growing and growing and growing and I’m almost touching the ceiling.
I’m just waiting for it to fall.
