  • When Abbie strikes a serious pose and Corey just wants to look down at his @obsessed.gymwear 😍💪🏼 To be honest with everyone though... you sorta have to become a little obsessed to take on a @wbff_aust show... but you know what? We love it! The support we have had already makes it the best federation to be a part of. T Minus 4 weeks until we are on holidays! • Even in Sydney where we attended the @wbff_aust show... we always have time for a quick flex! 💪🏼😍 Only 88 days left and Corey has decided he will compete with me as well. Yes! Both on comp prep nutrition now and let’s smash this out before we head out to Canada a month after we compete! 😃🇨🇦 Even in Sydney where we attended the @wbff_aust show... we always have time for a quick flex! 💪🏼😍 Only 88 days left and Corey has decided he will compete with me as well. • 14 weeks left until our @wbff_aust show! Slowly and surely getting leaner and leaner☺️ The process might sound long but we have already planned our cheat meals in Canada!!🇨🇦 We continuously think about what we can achieve and remind ourselves that this food is simply temporary. A few short months of pain to feel great for the rest of the year! 😃
.
.
Looking for a killer back finisher? Well here it is! Always a great way to finish off your back or whole body workout and truly know you have done a great job😍💪🏼
.
.
⭐️RULES⭐️
2-4 Rounds. No Rest between Exercises. 45 Seconds rest per lap.
You can always switch everything to dumbbells if you do not have access to barbells and kettlebells☺️ The second exercise (bent over dumbbell back row) is to be performed on each arm and then you move on to number 3. 14 weeks left until our @wbff_aust show! • 🎉I'm so proud of myself! 🎉.
.
Okay y'all...that feels weird to say! I seriously never pat myself on the back but I'm working on changing that! I've been trying to be kinder to myself. I realized recently while attending the @dreambigmidwest curvy conference that I have been neglecting my self care big time! .
.
During a speech delivered by the amazing @mariedenee, I had an epiphany: 1. I have never set a goal for myself that wasn't career related 2. I viewed work as a valid excuse to neglect my self care 3. I equate my self worth with my professional success. YOU GUYS I WAS SHOOK! I wasn't expecting to come to this realization at all...I was 100% in work mode at that conference. But her speech hit me right in the gut. I thought "oh my god...that's me..I do that!" And I had no idea!.
.
So I'm still a work in progress (aren't we all) and I'm still a major workaholic (on an 8 day work streak at the moment 🤦🏼‍♀️). BUT I got a gym membership, I scheduled a day off to go to the lake with my bff, and I'm working on getting more adequate sleep (no more all nighters!).
.

What do you do for self care? Who has inspired you to change for the better?.

  • There's nothing that we love more than women supporting each other and strong female friendships. We (secretly) asked BFFs and Chicago HEYMAMA's @clarkandstone and @andrealevoff to share each other's best qualities and a favorite memory together. They don't know what the other one said (isn't this the cutest?!). Check out their answers below, and yes we are that cheesy about the girls we love! 🧀
@andrealevoff:
Ceta’s best qualities are: She is such a good listener! She’s supportive and she’s so dang funny!! My favorite memory with Ceta: Going to New York and just staying up and talking with her all night in our hotel room. We had tried to go out and dance but when everything was closed we came back to our hotel and laughed all night!!! @clarkandstone: Andrea's best qualities are: She is a great listener, compassionate and dependable. I feel like I can tell her anything and there's no judgement, I can count on her. This is probably one of the most difficult traits to find in a friend. She's always there when I need her and I know I can count on her. She is very compassionate and cares about my well being.
My favorite memory with Andrea: There are so many! I have to say my favorite memory together was our first trip to New York trip with our girlfriends. We had so much fun. We got our ears pierced together, jumped in our hotel beds at 1 in the morning before an 8am photo shoot, shopped, had deep conversations, laughed, and danced in our Ubers. It was the best time.
