Body weight hip thrusts because I’m lacking in energy after that Orangetheory workout this morning. I keep my hands against the glass in order to stop my shoulders from sliding out during the exercise. I feel the exercise way more in my glutes when I do this!🍑
After a week of being in bed, your girl made it to the gym today! 🙏 And my abs are trying to come out
Still not 100% yet but I really wanted to get the blood flowing again. So I did a super light workout of mainly shoulders followed by some really slow stair climbing. 🙈
It felt nice to get some fresh air and be out of the house but I'm back to bed now because I slightly over did it 😂 oh well, told you I was impatient!

Self doubt • we all experience it at one point or another in life. It’s no different in prep or improvement season. We tend to be our own worst enemy.
If you ask even the most seasoned competitor, I bet you they’d tell you even they have days where they doubt they’ll be ready in time. -
If you ask the most seasoned competitor I can bet they’ll tell you that even they have days during improvement season where they don’t feel their best & they doubt they’re making progress.
The problem is we see ourselves in the mirror everyday & are constantly comparing ourselves to A) the people we see on social media , B) our leaner stage ready selves, or C) were just having a bad day & taking it out on our bodies. We don’t have the ability to see ourselves objectively, the way other people see us, every hour of the day. It’s easy to let our feelings control our minds. -
But if we let our feelings control our minds we do ourselves a disservice because then what happens? We either have a shitty day because we can’t get out of a funk or we back track the progress we really are making because we let our feelings make our decisions for us. It’s totally valid to feel however it is you feel, but you have to remember that it’s one bad day, not a bad week. The thoughts you’re having aren’t the thoughts you were having 1,2,3 days ago when you woke up & appreciated the new muscle growth you saw or when you woke up & felt lean & ready for the stage or whatever good thoughts you had about yourself or your situation.
It’s okay to have a little doubt sometimes, just don’t unpack and live there. .

In fitness miracles don't exist , no pills , no home made juice , no supplement , no stupid diets can represent a shortcut to achieve certain goals!!!! I cannot make that more clear than it already is.
The concept is simple , you burn more calories than you eat , you lose weight! You eat more calories than you burn , you gain weight. We can also take it further and talk about macro's too if that's what you like but I ll just leave it here for now.
No 6/10/12 week challenges will achieve a miraculous body transformation , it happens over time. Time in which you gather how your body works in terms of both exercise and food. -
