I’d like to show myself hitting 275lbs here.
I’d like not to show myself failing to do so.
The growth happens in the process. My attempt last week felt better. I felt stronger under the bar. Yesterday morning, not so much. But here’s me giving it all I had. Did I come up short?
Will I get it next time. That I cannot say. What I can say is this.
I will remain consistent. -
I will give it my best and one day...
I will get under the bar and hit 315lbs
Your not always going to feel great. Not everything is going to go your way. There are always going to be bad weeks, months, days. Trust me, I know. I’ve just had a week where it felt like the world was against me.
But in the end, your the one that can change that. You are the only one who has the power to dictate how you react when things just don’t go your way.
Here are a few of my tips to change your mindset:
- Read a book
- Listen to music or a podcast
- Write down 3 things your grateful for
- Go for a walk
- Go to the gym
- Spend time with people you love
