Do the people you work with know that you work two jobs with the hope that one day you only need to work one?
Do the moms at your child school know you sell Colorstreet , Lularoe, Plexus or Doterra?
The barista at Starbucks knows when you walk in that you want a Venti Vanilla Latte, triple shot, extra hot, no foam every day but do they know that you need that triple shot because you are tired from working long hours and taking care of three kids on your own?
Piper Noble’s presentation totes can help you spread the word to everyone that you interact with throughout the day that you are an entrepreneur. That you have a solution to their problem or a product that they have been looking for. What you are selling can help others but until you tell them or show them they will never know.
Let the Pippa or the Kate do the talking for you. As you go about your day wear the Pippa or Kate and you will see that that conversations will start.
Tag your best friends 💜
In the past WEEK I have gotten to spend time with some amazing friends/family and I have connected with a new tribe of support and mentorship here on Instagram 👭
🥰I couldn’t be more grateful or blessed right now. No matter the setbacks, I am wealthy through my abundance of loving family and genuine friends.
🤷🏽♀️ I hate to sound sappy, but I am grateful for how unpredictable my path has been because it has forced me to realize how privileged I am to be surrounded by such amazing souls. I am deeply honored to serve you all in my business and in my personal life 🙏🏼
💜 #questionoftheday Who is a new friend, networking connection, or old family member you have recently connected with (or reconnected with) and WHY are you grateful for them?
In most of my posts I talk about all of the wonderful parts of being a stylist, salon owner, and working mom. And it's all true. I really do love it. But it is also true that it is not easy. Actually, sometimes it's really really hard. 💫
I go through phases where I feel like I'm on top of the world and then I go through phases where I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing. When I'm in a down phase I often find myself thinking about Angela Lee Duckworth's TED Talk about Grit (if you have never watched this you should really YouTube it right now.) In this talk Angela explains that in her extensive research she has found that the one key characteristic that can be used to predict success is grit. She defines grit as passion and perseverance towards long term goals. It's not talent, intelligence, money, or even good looks that will make someone successful. It is their ability to persevere that makes all the difference. 💫
When I think of this it reminds me that it's ok to have a bad day, to make a mistake, or even to fail. Successful people fail all the time. It is the ability to pick yourself up, make the neccessary adjustments, and keep going, that makes a person likely to be successful in life. 💫
So, if you're feeling down, don't give up. It is in the low moments that you really get to prove how successful you are. 🙌
The moment you say “NO” to an opportunity that is placed in front of you... that is the moment you say no to yourself!
I said “YES” so i show up! not for anyone, but for myself!
Thank you Monday nights for always having that last bit of fire 🔥
Happiness - the state of being happy. •
Daily I’m reminding myself to appreciate the little things. To not only appreciate the BIG victories, but to appreciate the LITTLE victories as well. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Enjoy the NOW and appreciate what you have NOW. The things that you have or are wanting will come when it’s time so enjoy the NOW.
You wanna know a secret?

Do it scared. ⠀
When I posted a few days ago about comfort zones, someone commented that their 2019 motto was ‘do it scared.’ And wow. What an awesome motto. ⠀
The truth is nothing good comes from comfort zones. But doing something outside of your comfort zone is SCARY! This week I’m pushing myself to get out of my comfort zone. Push myself to help other people, to do uncomfortable things, to learn more about things I’m unsure of and to face the things I’ve been hiding from. And man, once you overcome the scary, it feels good. And powerful. And I feel strong. ⠀
I’m digging a litter deeper into this topic on the blog today and I’d LOVE to hear your thoughts! 💗
And thanks for inspiring me @itsbrookeallison!

Happy Earth Day!! 🌍🌎🌏
PLEASE please PLEASE be kind to this planet and the creatures on it. There is evidence all around that we are harming our beautiful home.😔 You can do the small things like not using straws or plastic grocery bags. You can also do the big things like vote people into office who care about this Earth and want to make big changes that will heal some of the damage that's been done. 🌏💜🌎💜🌍
Y’all - this isn’t even my favorite dress from Courtney’s maternity session 😱 Oh I can’t wait to share more! I’m swooning over here as I edit! We ended our evening with this skirt - almost skipping over it entirely. I’m so so glad we didn’t! 💛🌿 hair&makeup: @momentsmetrosalon
Your growth depends on it 👏🏻🙌🏻.
My whole life I’ve been scared, terrified really, of death and dying. I avoid hospitals and people who are dying. I’ve risked friendships because I was too scared to attend viewings. I feel like I’ve never really been able to “show up” for people who were facing end of life. My inner constitution wasn’t strong enough. I couldn’t look into death’s face.
But God has his own plans and when He wants us to be stretched and grow for His purpose, He will put exactly that in front of us which we CAN’T ignore. And so on April 5th when my mom called me at work to tell me my stepdad, my sweet & beloved Frankiepants, has 2 weeks to live OUT OF NOWHERE, I was hurled into a chaos and a fear I’ve never known before.
We had 7 days with him before leukemia took him. I sat with a walking dead man while he called insurance companies and banking institutions, wrapping up his life. I hugged and kissed his still warm but lifeless body minutes after his soul had left it. I held my mom up while she literally collapsed in my arms as he was wheeled out of the house, covered in a sheet. I stared into the face of death and I’ve never grown up so fucking fast in my life. You grow up real fast when growing up is your only choice...
I didn’t know, and I don’t know, how to help her and support her while she moves through this loss, because it’s my loss too. Logistically, there is so much to do when a parent dies, but there’s so much more to think about when you still have another parent left who is barely functioning. This is some real life shit and 31 is too young to experience it.
But what I’m learning is that when you look straight into the face of your fears, they evaporate right in front of your eyes. I have been a support for my mama the best I can. I’ve cried my tears and said goodbyes in my heart. And in the end, I gave my Frizzle the tribute he deserved at his memorial service, the most beautiful service I’ve ever seen. God was in that room. Frank was in that room. I know that because when I looked into the face of death, I realized it was transparent. Continued in comments 🙌🏻❤️🙌🏻 #giveittomeraw
