Episode 18 of Forgotten Fables brought a rollercoaster ride of emotions to our party and ended in a very intense stand off!
Lom the Paladin had chose a convenient time to go for a walk as the party’s evil wizard spent those hours torturing the captured Duergar! Though it was not until he was laying in the back of the caravan heading back to Mithral Hall with Ermgra and Tysus, that he unfolded the list of items requested he gather by Scarlett that he became quite concerned about the intentions of their wizard... At the bottom of the list of mundane items, potions and alchemy equipment was written “Necro Spell Book Lv.1”. Upon reading this he rushed to inform his two companions. This is when Tysus mentions how she tortured and mutilated the hostage last night and with that Lom insisted they turn back and deal with the potential evil threat in their own keep.
To find out how that encounter turned out for Scarlett you can watch the episode on our Twitch.tv VOD!

As a soldier of the Marine Army, Prague has sworn to protect the weak and helpless of the aquatic city they call home. On a diplomatic mission to the surface, Prague and crew encountered more dangers than expected, getting caught up in the war between two countries. Fighting between both sides, since neither knew their allegiance, a few of them were killed in battle while the rest were captured and held in the nearest command post.
Prague has spent the last week in a cell attempting to convince the guards of the crew's innocence so that they may return home to help. The whole battalion at the command post know of the story now: an underwater nation assailed by a an aquatic troupe of cyclops has near crippled their defenses, and the soldiers sent for help. Of course, none of the guards have ever seen a cyclops so this story is surely a ruse to run to the enemy and divulge secrets and camp layouts. Will anyone believe this story, and if so, what help would their small crew be now anyway? "Curse my respect of the law, for I cannot do a thing latched in both these shackles and the ones of my own making." Designed for D&D5e, but with your GMs help, this can be easily modified for other tabletop RPGs. This character is part of my "Potential Hero" series.
This was made for anyone (including GM's) to use in their game as an (N)PC. You're welcome to take any to all aspects of this character, and then make it your own, and I'd love to hear how you do that! 😊
