👋🏼 Hi friends!! It’s Friday and the perfect time for #fridayintroductions being that I’ve never really formally introduced myself... 🙈 First and foremost, I’m Kelly, the face and big hair behind Farm To Table Creations. I create farmhouse signs & now offering pillow covers.... I’m beyond excited for this new adventure!
I am the daughter of the one true King! 🙏🏼 I am a wife to an amazing husband, a mother to 4 wonderful children; ages 30, 25, 17 and 5. People look at me crazy when I tell them I have a 30 year old and a 5 year old. It’s quite comical. And yes, I birthed all four of these children.🤣 I am beyond thrilled to become a grandma of a precious baby boy early this fall. I believe family is life’s greatest blessing.
I have a strong faith and feel passionate about inspiring others with home decor related items that portray that belief & creativity that I’ve been blessed with.
I have a major coffee obsession! ☕️ I love leggings and yoga pants. Chunky blankets and pillows. I would rather buy home decor than clothing.
My favorite thing to eat is a well-done cheeseburger and an ice cold beer. I have a major sweet tooth and love to chew ice.
I don’t care to cook but I love to bake. Banana cake with cream cheese frosting is my ultimate favorite desert.
I feel everything happens for a reason. You will see that every situation that God has brought you into, has either changed you, helped you grow, made you stronger, taught you a lesson, or made you a better person. Everything He does, has a purpose. It helps mold you into the person you were meant to be.
There ya have it... some random facts about me. I appreciate you allowing me to share with you my home & the things that inspire me. Thank you friends for giving me the opportunity to feel grateful. ❤️
Welcome, Neighbors! 🏘 Please check that you are following the page @insta_neighborly, your Host @ rustic_and_glamourous, and Admins @our.cultivated.home and @lyndaledrive before participating! We are here to ensure a fair environment for you and help you grow!
How it works:
🏘 1. Number your comment and comment "I'm ready to engage!" (Example: If you're the first to engage, comment 1. I'm ready to engage! The next person will comment 2. I'm ready to engage! And so on.)
🏘 2. Like the comment and go to their account.
Like and Comment 4+ words on their most recent post. (If you have already engaged on that post, you may engage on another post, comment below them here to notify them before continuing.) Emojis and less than 4 words is not recognized by the algorithm as engagement!
🏘 3. You are required to engage with EACH account on the post. (Example: If 35 people comment to engage, there should be 34 Likes on each comment "I'm ready to engage" at the end of the day. This is the point of numbering comments.)
The post will be closed at 35 participants and another opened, up to 3 posts/105 participants max. Those from the previous post may comment “I'm ready to engage” and engage on the next post as well, but they must engage with everyone on both posts! (You may simply Like the comments of those you may already have engaged with on the first post.) Those from the last post will ONLY be able to engage within their post!
🏘 4. Return each evening after 8 EST (when Admin will close all posts) to double check that you have finished engagement with everyone and Liked their comment!
Please DM Admin our.cultivated.home to notify us of anyone who is not engaging correctly, your concerns will remain anonymous! We want all those who put time and effort into engaging with others to receive fair engagement in return.
Note: Due to the extensive page workload on Insta_neighborly, your Host rustic_and_glamourous may not always be able to reciprocate, we ask your understanding in this.
It's a beautiful day in the Neighborhood! 🏘
So true! I bought this little sign to remind me to stop, slowdown & enjoy the little things. I need to remember to be grateful for what I have & not think about the future so much. Living like this has helped bring more joy into my life. I didn’t realize how stressful it was to always be worried about what was to come instead of just being. Anyway, celebrate today! Have a beautiful Friday.
“We rode into town the other day
Just me and my Daddy
He said I'd finally reached that age
And I could ride next to him on a horse
That of course was not quite as wide
We heard a crowd of people shouting
And so we stopped to find out why
And there was that man
That my dad said he loved
But today there was fear in his eyes
So I said "Daddy, why are they screaming?
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why is He dressed in that bright purple robe?
I'll bet that crown hurts Him more than He shows
Daddy, please can't you do something?
He looks as though He's gonna cry
you said he was stronger than all of those guys
Daddy, please tell me why
Why does everyone want him to die?"
Later that day the sky grew cloudy
And Daddy said I should go inside
Somehow he knew things would get stormy
Boy was he right
But I could not keep from wondering
If there was something he had to hide
So after he left I had to find out
I was not afraid of getting lost
So I followed the crowds
To a hill where I knew men had been killed
And I heard a voice come from the cross
And it said, "Father, why are they screaming?
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why are they casting their lots for My robe?
This crown of thorns hurts Me more than it shows
Father, please can't You do something?
I know that You must hear My cry
I thought I could handle the cross of this size
Father, remind Me why
Why does everyone want Me to die?
When will I understand why?"
"My precious Son, I hear them screaming
I'm watching the face of the enemy beaming
But soon I will clothe You in robes of My own
Jesus, this hurts Me much more than You know
But this dark hour I must do nothing
Though I've heard Your unbearable cry
The power in Your blood destroys all of the lies
Soon You'll see past their unmerciful eyes
Look there below, see the child
Trembling by her father's side
Now I can tell You why
She is why You must die"

Day 19 - Friday Feels.
I have one client this morning, then I’m done for the Easter break. This is where you will find me later this Friday afternoon with a glass of @pimmsgb 🥤
We’re going to be working on our latest project in the garden this weekend. I’m so excited! Last Summer, in the heatwave, we both got completely sozzled one night and the next morning we realised we’d bought a heated above ground pool! Now, truth be known, it’s an adult paddling pool made of steel, 12ft wide by four foot deep, but it’s perfect for chilling out in and having a glass of something delicious with friends. We’re creating a sunken courtyard for it, so that it appears to be flush with ground level, hard to explain. I’m going to be planting Hidcote Lavender and putting pretty lanterns up around it too. I’ll do a before and after story about it at some point.
However, it’s not all work this Easter weekend. In between all that we’re off to our favourite restaurant, The Jetty at @christchurch.harbourhotel
We’ve been many times before and are hoping for an outside table (photos to follow). We’re also going to have a little bbq on Sunday with a few friends, so should be good. What are you guys up to? Jp xx
Happy Thursday friends! I’m rushing around cleaning my house before my parents come tomorrow night! And when I say cleaning I mean, really cleaning like getting the carpet shampoo out and cleaning the down stair carpets?!! Does anyone else go into cleaning overdrive when family comes to visit? —————————
I wish I was sitting in this clean, gorgeous kitchen by Leila @morenos_home ! I love her custom island! 💗Y’all check her out - her home is full of wonderful ideas and lots of beautiful decorating! Hope y’all are having a great night!🌟🌟🌟
