These rainy months can be hard on stray animals, especially seniors. 10 year old Diego is fortunate that a member of the public took him in out of the rain and brought him to North Central. We don't know how long this little 11 pounds guy was out in the elements, but he shows us he’s had his fill of adventure for now. He’s hoping to spend his golden years with a roof over his head, cuddling with someone who cares for him. Diego has a grade 2-3/4 medial luxating patella and mild conjunctivitis. Upon rescue, he will need to be taken to the vet for further evaluation. Please consider him for rescue or adoption! Diego has been at the shelter since 02/07/19.

Meet Steve, our ever-so-friendly, labrador mix! He was found by two teenagers on a golf course in Puerto Rico, and the first thing Steve did was roll over for a belly rub! The two teenagers knew they had to bring Steve home and help find him a furever home! Steve has been described above everything as "super chill" and extra friendly.
Steve is about 4 years old, 20 pounds, has been neutered, and received a full check up complete with all of his shots. He walks well on a leash, is good in the car, and is very friendly with other animals! Who wouldn't want to spend time with this fun and friendly guy?
