FT: United 0-2 City 😣 We all knew coming into tonight’s game that it wasn’t going to be easy, and we made City work for their 3 points. That game just shows the gap in quality between the two teams. At least tonight the players tried and we can be proud of their performance. Arsenal lost tonight which still gives us a chance in the race for the Top 4. It seems like none of the teams want that 4th spot. 3 games to go, let’s finish the season off we’ll. Onto Chelsea on Sunday, a must win game. Heads up Reds 🔴✊🏼 #mufc#ggmu

FT: Wolves 3-1 Arsenal
First and foremost, shocking performance. We’ve officially bottled it and now we are really in danger of missing out on top 4. We were destroyed from start to finish, and deservedly so: there was not fight, no passion, no aggression within the players today...
On the other hand, instead of talking how poorly we played, we must give credit where credit is due and today that goes to all of Wolves players. What a team Santo has assembled there, he really does know how to set his team up against top opposition 😂😂
I throughly hope they achieve European football for next season, they highly deserve it.
So that leaves us lurking in 5th place, one spot and one point behind Chelsea in 4th. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but because of United’s loss to City there is a slim chance we might get Champions League football next season. Think about it, if United win on Sunday against Chelsea and so do we against Leicester, we’ll move two points ahead of Chelsea and remain two points ahead of United into 4th spot. Albeit we squandered yet another chance to get into the top 4 today, there is hope, even if it means we cede to relying on other’s results 🤷♂️.
Still, we need a massive performance on Sunday against Leicester and maybe, just maybe we’ll have a shot at top four. Maybe. Still that’s not to say how badly we played today. Player ratings out tomorrow.
COYG🔴⚪️, not happy right now, just downright amazed at our display 😤😤

I know today was an incredibly frustrating and painful game. I won’t be making a review of it because I’m so annoyed, however we must not lose hope! If we win our remaining 3 games we put ourselves in with a brilliant chance. If Chelsea drop points against united and we win all 3 games we make the top four. We just have to massively pick up our game and hope for united to take points off Chelsea, either a draw or win will do. I think Spurs are uncatchable but we must still believe. COYG 🔴⚪️
Knew it was going to happen. Superb away win in Naples but typically getting excited and failing to win the next two. It was too slow today and an attack with Özil and Mkhitaryan away from home is too slow and won’t defend well. It could be 3 defeats in a row before we face Valencia with another away defeat at Leicester, which would make a top 4 place very difficult. Need something else on Sunday tactically and from the mentality of the players! (Tweet by Patrick Timmons)
One of the worst performances I’ve seen from a arsenal team, for me that’s top 4 gone so I would put all the balls in the Europa league if we don’t win Sunday , fans who are already emery out , just get out your not needed from the fan base , wolves have nothing to play for, just got knocked out of the semi final but still manage to beat us , I don’t even know where it went wrong tbh but what I do know is that our defence is shit and we need a whole new back line around sokratis and maybe amn apart from that the rest can fuck off😴
Anyway we move on to next week
I don't care how much of the ball we had, the fact is you don't win the game with possession, it's about what you do with the ball. The only stat that counts is goals scored and goals conceded. The fact of the matter is that #wolves scored 3 and #arsenal scored 1.
The last two games have shown me we (Arsenal) are still as mentally weak as we were last season under Arsene. We are a team with a loser's mentality, when it gets tough we crumble, when it matters we fall.
Fills me with nerves going into the Europa League semi-finals. On paper, we are the best team left in the competition, we are better than #valencia but have we got the balls to get through it? Are we mentally strong enough to win it? I don't know.
We could have wrapped up top 4 in the last 2 games (games we should have won) but we bottled. Wolves arguably the best of the rest (but that's what they are- the rest). No excuse for Palace, the only reason they always seem to beat us is because they want it more, they are hungry and they give it their all.
We are one of the best teams in the world but we don't have the hunger, the drive or the passion to become winners. That has to change, we are a top club we have to move forward.
But we move on to Leicester, we need a performance.
Not going to hate because I know that there will be enough of that to go round after the game. I just want to say something. We lost 3-1 away to a team who have beaten Olé’s United, Pochettino’s Spurs and drawn with Pep’s City. We HAVE to trust the process. 3 years ago, in Jurgen Klopp’s first season, Liverpool finished 8th. 8th!!!! With investment, time and the manager instilling his ideology, look where they are now. I can’t promise that things will happen instantly, and I can’t be sure we will be in the same position. But I do know one thing, we HAVE to #trusttheprocess
I ask all of you, all of you. Don’t insult the players or call Unai out. Be patient. Worse things have happened to teams in football. Let Unai prove his worth in the summer, and next season you can judge him. He has spent 75 million on a squad beaten by Swansea last year, a team beaten by Stoke, we HAVE improved. He needs time, and we need to stand behind him.
Thank you 🙏
