Is one way to describe our family but I dont think I would be the person I am without growing up around such a bonkers group of people that I call family.
Family is so important to our future selves it's the firm foundation that we build our lives upon that help us grow into the people that we are today. The one thing that I've learnt and that we all learn as we get older is that family changes. Changes happen in families and holes get created. The type of holes that can never be replaced. When I was growing up I always felt safe in the nievity that I had all of my family around me and that they would always be there and that we would always be a family. Strong, together, present, healthy and happy. It's only now that I can see things differently and that those moments in time don't last forever. I'm very grateful and so so lucky that my children get the love and happiness of a crazy, fun loving family that I did at their age. They are just as happy but totally unaware of the holes that have already been made throughout the years. Unfortunately it will change again someday, but until then I hope they feel safe, I hope they feel happy and loved and I hope they are building memories of happiness with the people that matter the most to them. And lastly, I truly hope that who we are as a family around them now helps them grow into the best version of themselves in the future. With a little crazy thrown in!
