This collection is based on the background of 80s China, which was a special period of China. I tell a story of growth and strife of this generation through this work. The story stated with the obsessive parental love and how they travel through different stages of their live to reach a success of their own understanding.
The inspiration comes from a hand woven fabric with Chinese traditional culture elements, which is the dowry from my mother in the 1980s. I modernised and created a new pattern to create a postmodern art patchwork concept. I use laser cut technology to cut the leather and place on the different fabric.
@kenzo’s La Collection Memento No. 4 brought a bright clothing-clad troupe of performers to stage, using dance to establish a new performative narrative. Moving along to the energetic routine were the audience as their seating sections also began to rotate and move around the space.

Omg, it's my first time to have prize in lucky draw!! It's my first "Porsche". It was a really nice sound presentation. Playing star war video game with that sounds system is a bit too fancy but it makes so much difference indeed.
P.S I wish this is a good sign and bring luck to me in 2019 as well

so charming 😍😍😍
Ballerina and bitch: a detail from a look by Tokyo-based designer Chika Kisada, a former classically trained ballerina, who launched her own label four years ago. Kisada creates ultra-feminine tutu-inspired pieces and fuses her pas-de-deux grace and power with punk-rock irreverence into motorcycle jackets and cotton t-shirts. It's stage-y, dreamy, veil-y and racy; ballerina and bitch, by turns. See it at Fashion Asia Hong Kong's 10 Asian Fashion Designers to Watch on PMQ's Qube level until December 11, 2018.
"How Soon is Mao": the classic suit gets synthetic, sci-fi, hand brushed, hand-scraped, TPU and up-popped treatment in the hands of Pronounce, a label comprising fashion designers Yushan Li & Jun Zhou, Central Saint Martins graduate and London College of Fashion alumni respectively. The label was a Woolmark Prize International nominee in 2017. They play with genderless dressing flirting between a range of contemporary chairperson's iterations; sino chic and stature abound. See them at Fashion Asia Hong Kong's 10 Asian Fashion Designers to Watch in PMQ until December 11, 2018.
"Gao Wow": A detail from a look by Beijing-born, New York-based fashion designer Xue Gao's (Snow) autumn/winter 2018 collection on display at Fashion Asia Hong Kong in PMQ. The Parsons New York School of Art and Design Master of Fashion graduate, who only set up her eponymous label Snow Xue Gao last year, was nominated for this year's 2018 LVMH Prize. "Cut, Twist, Pinch & Suit-Up" goes her tagline. See her asymmetrical and exaggerated wool plaids, jacquards, silk prints, drapes and cultural constructions. It's 21st-century state-of-the-art, Victoriental new-vintage, progressive post-neo-dandy, and inescapably dashing with it. Art you can wear, or fashion art. (See until December 11, 2018). #snowxuegao#snowxuegaoaw2018#10adtw#fashionasiahk#fashionasiahonkong2018#parsonsschoolofdesign#parsonsfashionmfa#lvmhprize#pmq#pmqqube#pmqhk
