I finally know what people are talking about when they say they workout when they’re stressed.
I used to think that was insane. Heck, when I’m stressed, me and my best friend, Haagen-Dazs, hang out on the couch and watch Netflix until we’re too tired to stress anymore, and then I just fall asleep.
Last week, I turned to exercise rather than food to get me through the stressful days. Don’t get me wrong, I still indulged in my favorite comfort foods now and again, but I didn’t hold on to them for dear life the way I normally do. Instead, I pushed through my least favorite workout routine, cardio. I knew it would challenge me and that I could let out my anxiety and stress by pushing myself and working up a sweat.
I’m super sore today, but I feel confident and happy. And frankly, I’m proud of myself. There was once a time when I would have eaten, literally, an entire box of Cookie Crisp to attempt to alleviate the stress. But not this week!! I made a conscious decision to choose a more productive and healthy way to vent, and it felt just as good, if not better!
It’s not always easy, and I am still struggling a lot, especially in the food department, but that was a huge milestone for me, and let’s just say I crushed that cardio workout! 💪🏻🏅! I’m literally learning as I go with this whole fitness and nutrition thing, and even when I don’t see physical results, I’m seeing mental and emotional ones, and that’s huge for me! I’m so grateful to have something in my life that makes me feel this great about myself, and I want everyone I love to feel great too!
Tomorrow I start my fourth challenge group....a group of women motivating each other in their workouts, their nutrition, and their daily lives, and I would love for you to join me! It’s not too late to join if you’re looking for a way to feel great about yourself and start a new, flexible, and busy-schedule friendly exercise routine! Message me if you’re interested...you might just love it! ♥️ #fitness#beachbody#stressrelief#workoutroutine#feelingbettereveryday
A few months ago, I was making all the excuses:
*I don't have the time
*I don't have the money
*I don't have the motivation
*I have a hard time finishing things, so
why bother to start?
*It might be too hard, and I might not
be good at it, etc.
I watched my best friend change her life and share her journey on social media. She fell in love with the program and decided to coach in order to help other women. I watched her and felt proud of her, but I never thought it could or would be me.
The more I followed her journey, I started to think, "Why not me?" So instead of succumbing to all the excuses, I decided to take a chance to improve my health and also to help women improve theirs.
I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and away from those excuses. I CAN make time for myself, the program IS affordable and attainable, and I WILL make progress, even if I have to modify every single move in the beginning.
I finally decided to give it a shot because I realized I was worth it, and that it wasn't a selfish thing to invest in my own health and wellbeing.
My question now is: "Why not you?"
Why did I start a new health and fitness program 7 months ago? I was drinking 4+ cups of coffee just to get through my day. My nutrition was horrible, skipping breakfast, grabbing something fast for lunch and more often than not, ordering out for dinner. I was stressed and drinking too often. Feeling bloated and often woke up with headaches. Feeling like I didn’t have the energy to play with my kids. Less and less motivation to do yoga, run or even take my dog for a walk. .
I’m almost finished with my fourth program and I can’t wait to start the next! I have energy that lasts throughout the day and it’s not from the one tiny cup of coffee I have in the morning! These programs have made me feel strong, confident and happy! .
The photo is a little “thank-you” I’m sending out to the new ladies that decided to make themselves a priority and joined my team. I have found something that allows you to find the fun and it’s sustainable. I don’t feel deprived and I feel strongly that you need to find something that you can actually STICK to year-round! .
I’m looking for women who are: .
🌺 looking to tone, sculpt, and shed some pounds .
.🌺 busy and don’t have a ton of time to spend on working out .
.🌺 interested in a more flexible approach when it comes to nutrition (think—can still enjoy treats and adult beverages) .
.🌺 wanting a flexible workout schedule-want to workout whenever and wherever they are. .
These programs helped me tone, strengthen, eat healthier—more importantly they helped me figure out how to make it a part of my daily routine! I know they could help you too! I’m still accepting new entries into my online virtual bootcamp. Message me if you’re next to get a “thank-you” and gift! 🤗
Are you tired of being tired?
I sure was until I took a leap of faith and tried Herbalife! I swear I would stock the Herbalife posts i used to see on here and get completely pumped about how people where feeling and the RESULTS! And decided something needed to change! This single momma needed something so I could keep up!
I finally found a product that works for me! I'm down countless inches and have gained so much more then just energy!
I have endless support and help!
Have you had your Herbalife today?! If not ask me how to get some!!! Remember today starts with you!!!! ❤❤❤❤
As someone reminded me (😉 @zweston) I should probably give you all an update on the amazing Luna!! She is doing so well and most of her hair is grown back so you can’t even tell she had surgery! She is very full of energy and so happy to be gaining back some muscle and giving riding lessons again! I am very glad this mare will be with us for hopefully many many more years to come!! #aqhaproud#loveluna#heartofgold#healing#hearthorse#feelingbettereveryday#formula1noni

The first quarter of this year is over. Spring is rolling in, a new month and a new week are upon us. ~
It feels sooo good to have so many beginnings all at once. I'm looking forward with great optimism to all this newness with a sassy Spring spring in my step. ~
I love the magic and playfulness of a beginning; like a blank page, or a lump of unscripted clay.
So use your imagination and your amazing energy to focus on what it is you want. Hold it in your heart. See it in your mind. Feel it in your bones. ~
Now get out there and manifest yourself some awesomeness, because at your core, that's exactly what you are - AWESOME!
Love to all.
