🔥 How to Train your Abs🔥

So I get asked this on a frequent basis; "should I train my abs every single day?" and I figured I'd make a post on it. There is this misconception that you need to train your abs every single day doing hundreds and Hu dreds of crunches, high rep work, and the only ones that matter are the "sixpack" muscles (ie your rectus abdominals). The truth is though, not o ly is that an inefficient way to train to grow your abs, but it is also an inefficient way to train your core for function and strength. The way to actually go about it is to train your abs like every other muscle group (2-3 times a week with progressive overload), training them with moderate to heavy loads with perfect form, and making sure you train your entire core (ie your obliques and transverse abdominals too), not just the front six. Your core is more than just aesthetics and a strong core can transfer into amazing performance in so many other lifts and exercises. You got to train it properly.

Single arm Vertical work?

Stole this from @jayferruggia 
We just don't see enough single arm work in the vertical pull. 
Or enough single armed hanging...we will row unilaterally all day...but very rarely work like this. 
Combined with the split stance where the weaker side ( leg back) is the same side of the body  that's doing the pulling.

With the front foot, cue driving the foot into the floor...which helps the client feel more stable and activate the core and Glutes.. Pack the shoulder and keep the scapula under control.

Keep the inside of the arm close to he outside of the body. And cue pulling the elbow Into the side pockets. 
3-4 x 10- 12. 
Why? In this clients case he has quite severe scoliosis and single arm work is his bread and butter.. Just another tool in the box!

Creo que receta más fácil que esta no existe! 🌮🍅🧀 Omelette de tomate, queso y semillas con calabaza asada 🌮🍅🧀.

➡Omelette:
🔅 2 huevos
🔅 sal, pimienta y ajo en polvo
🔅 1 tomate en rodajas
🔅 4 trozos de queso fresco descremado
🔅 mix de semillas
➡Calabaza:
🔅 2 rodajas de calabaza en cubos
🔅 aceite de oliva
🔅 sal, pimienta y orégano
✴Procedimiento omelette:
👉 Colocar los huevos en un bowl y agregarles los condimentos, batir.
👉 Esparcir rocío vegetal sobre una sartén.
👉 Distribuir la preparación sobre la misma.
👉 Tapar y cocinar hasta que coagule por completo.
👉 Agregar las rodajas de tomate y el queso fresco descremado, tapar y cocinar unos minutos más.
👉 Doblarlo a la mitad, servirlo en un plato y decorarlo con el mix de semillas.
😉 Yo después de eso le doy un toque de microondas porque me gusta el tomate bien cocido y el queso bien derretido, y a veces solo con el calor de la sartén no queda de esa forma.
✴Procedimiento calabaza: simplemente hay que mezclarla con el aceite de oliva y los condimentos para luego cocinarla en el horno hasta que esté tierna. Yo la hago en la freidora aire porque es más fácil y rápido!

muscleandmotion How to Kettlebell Windmill + Anatomical Analysis.

The kettlebell Windmill develops flexibility and strength in the core muscles, shoulders and hips.
Keep the kettlebell locked out and arms straight at all times and push your hip out in the direction of the kettlebell.
Keep your eyes on the kettlebell all the way down and up.

The movement in the left hip joint is extension with lateral/external rotation. The target muscle is the gluteus maximus. The hamstrings assist in extension and also assist in rotation of the pelvis.

The kettlebell windmill improves shoulder mobility and stability.
The rotator cuff (in blue) is a group of muscles and tendons that surround the shoulder joint, keeping the head of your upper arm bone firmly within the shallow socket of the shoulder. 
In green, we can see the group of muscles that rotate the scapula upward.

Characteristic mistake:
Spinal flexion with rotation.
Reasons: It can be compensation for tight hamstrings or adductors, or maybe it’s just lack of awareness.

Do you make sure to sweat every day? 
When I can’t get to the gym I exercise at home with my kids. My hope is that when they grow up exercise will be a natural part of their life like brushing their teeth in the morning and before bed.

I have a ways to go on my journey to better health and fitness but is am seeing many NSV’s (non scale victories). The shirt I have on is a Zumba shirt from when I was a Zumba and fitness instructor 6 years ago. It has been several years since I have been able to fit this shirt and a few months ago I considered donating it. 
But today it fit🙌🏾 though you may not always see it on the scale, the hard work is paying off. Let’s keep at it 🤗

So many people talk about "getting skinny" .  The question you have to ask yourself is WHY DO YOU WANT TO GET SKINNY? 
The problem with our society today is, we care more about vanity then health.  Most people just want to get skinny no matter the cost, when really your main objective to getting skinny should be to better your health.

Don't get me wrong vanity is important too, looking good makes you feel good and when you feel good your more confident. 
There are many good reason to get skinny but the primary one should be SELF LOVE.  You should eat healthy foods and execise to better yourself.  It's like a gift your giving your body. 
Every day we open our eyes is a new gift and we should appreciate everyday by taking care of our bodies.  We are all beautiful humans, and we shouldn't be trying to lose weight to change who we are, but to better the awesome people we already are.

So I urge you to eat something healthy today.. take 5 minutes and meditate to yourself ... Execise.. go for a walk.  Treat your body today b.c you only have 1.
