just doing some cardio work today... I usually like to do 15-30 minutes (but more if I choose to!). Incline 15, speed varies but like to stay 3.5-4.0. My mental is not in the zone to lift some weights, so I am taking it easy with her today 💟 do not push yourself if you cannot help it, you will not get anything out of your workout if you are not mentally in it!!! 9 months ago I graduated college, and that’s when everything went down hill. I was in a whole new routine where I had to work 8-4:45 every day, and couldn’t find the time to workout like I did when I was college. I gained back a lot of weight, and my anxiety and depression suffered as well 😥
I finally decided enough was enough, and for the last 26 days I got up every day at 5 before work to workout, (some days weren’t easy), and started being more serious about my nutrition and what I was feeding my body (like I did in college)
Here is my transformation of officially finishing phase 1 (26 days) of my workout program.
2 more phases to go, and I can’t wait to see my progress 26 days from now when I finish phase 2! 🙏🏼🌸💘✨
A wise friend (aka @little_asprey ) once told me, to take care of myself first!☝🏼 I can do all the training in the world but if I injure myself it’s for nothing.
Take the time, to TAKE CARE OF YOU! I have been making a point to stretch before and after lifts, foam roll morning and night, and making chiropractor ( shout out to @oldmuscleguy for making my body feel 100% better hit him up if you need an adjustment ) and massage appointments to make sure I’m healthy and my body is functioning properly! Invest in your health and wellness, it’s always worth it🖤
Humbling session this morning, my first moonboard sesh without sending any #benchmarks. Felt like butt, and now my ego hurts. You guys should be good friends and go do my new boulders I made up, call them soft, and then recommend they be benchmarks.
