I'm really stuck on these fluid paintings!
😂 Get it? Because it's a cactus! What's your favorite cactus pun?! Or your favorite fluid piece I've done so far?!
Colors used: dark green, light green, black, white, and gold.
There was a book in my bookshelf as a child growing up that I was particularly fascinated with - Earth From Above by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
It was a fascinating look at the world from a perspective we don’t often see (and this was before the drone takeover). I feel inspired by that book and the person responsible. I would love to say a big thank you to him if I ever get the chance... but for now I’ll just send out vibes.
Close up of the most beautiful cell I've ever seen!!! I don't ever recommend using glitter paint for pours. However metallic paints work really well for pours and give it an AMAZING SHINE!! Metallic colors art a lot thicker than other paints so I always use 50% less paint than I usually would with pouring medium and I keep my color palette limited to only 1 or 2 metallics tops!
This color is by @decoart and is their gold metallic sheen and it's the most shiny gold I have ever used!! Pouring it into the cup was like pouring liquid gold!
Swipe to see the gold in the cup!
