  • Excited to announce this collaboration with @missfitsnutrition 😬
They are one of the few brands who have nailed creating a vegan protein that doesn’t taste like soil ❌
Trust me I’ve tried a fair few (vegan proteins, not soil)
I’ve used their Coffee Flavoured Multitasker whey to create these COFFEE AND WALNUT BAKED PROTEIN COOKIES ☕️🍪
They’re super simple to make and are the perfect snack or even pre/post workout 🙌🏼Recipe as follows:
🔻INGREDIENTS
3 scoops of Missfits Multitasker Protein in Coffee flavour
100g walnuts
175g dates (soaked in boiling water for 10 minutes)
140g almond butter
50ml maple syrup
100g of oats (use GF if required)
🔻METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F, and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
2. In a food processor, blitz your dates until a paste is formed. You might need to scrape down the sides a couple of times.
3. Next add your almond butter, maple syrup, protein powder, walnuts and oats. Blitz until combined.
4. Empty your mixture between two pieces of baking paper and roll with a rolling pin until a few mm thin, then using a cookie cutter cut out your cookies. I managed to cut out 20, with a bit left over (which I ate raw whilst the cookies baked. Protein ball recipe pending!)
5. Bake in oven for 12 minutes before delicately flipping them over and baking on the other side for a further 4 minutes.
6. Leave to cool before combining your melted coconut oil and cacao powder and drizzling over the cookies. 🍫🍪
The recipe is live on the blog👆🏼

  • “The Sweet Requiem” is a narrative film by Ritu Sarin and Tenzing Soman (@ritu10zing). It follows a Tibetan woman living in India as she relives her traumatic escape from Tibet and seeks reconciliation and closure. The film will have its world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival (@tiff), but the creators need your help to put the finishing touches on the film. • Elephant love 🐘 ⠀⠀
When we asked our driver about an ethical place we could hug an elephant he drove us to the Bali Zoo. The light was going and we were pretty disappointed about what we found at the zoo, but after some research we found the Mason Elephant Park & Lodge @elephantsbali BALI’S ONLY DEDICATED ELEPHANT RESCUE RESERVE Since opening in 1997 the Mason Elephant Park & Lodge has garnered a reputation around the world as the blueprint on how elephants should be cared for in captivity. Set in the misty hinterlands of Taro, this multi-award winning park is Bali’s only dedicated elephant rescue facility and is home to 31 endangered Sumatran elephants, 4 of which were born there. The park provides guests with the opportunity to interact and learn about these gentle giants while giving the elephants a comfortable and safe environment.
⠀⠀
The 3.5 hectares were carefully landscaped to mimic as much as possible the original environment of the elephants’ previous home in Sumatra.
⠀⠀
They do not use brutal or cruel training methods, as all training is by repetition, reward and patience.
⠀⠀
The park follows the ‘5 Freedoms of Animal Welfare’ established in Great Britain in 1965 and in 20 years of operation, the Mason Elephant Park & Lodge has been recognised by the international community and numerous animal welfare organisations such as the National Geographic Society as a Welfare Supporter and the World Wildlife Foundation as a Partner in Conservation. You can bathe and interact with the elephants in the park but if you want a moment between just you and one of this beautiful giants be prepared 💰 💰 💰 and ask for a private photoshoot sesh.

  • It seems no matter where the Dutch-Moroccan model @imaanhammam goes, her very own spotlight follows. After a grueling schedule of back-to-back runway shows, fashion appearances, and late-night parties, she's showing us the secrets to how she still looks so good—including lots of oils, a serum that takes all the bags away, and a favorite lip balm.
