What Consoles do you mainly like to play on?
As you might have noticed I love Sony and have owned every console of theirs. PS4 is also nearly becoming my fave console of all time.

1998....what an epic year for games! 🎮Comment below your fav!🎮 From the ones in this pic, personally I have to pick metal gear solid! Unreal game, way ahead if it’s time and I had insane fun playing it! 🙂
Really happy with the current state of my setup! 🖤 However, today I got a dead pixel on my brand-new Dell S2716DG... Now I'm back to square one, desperately looking for a 27",1440p at 144hz monitor that has an IPS panel. I have my eyes on the newly announced Aorus AD27QD, so I think I'll wait a little and get that one! Any monitor suggestions?
Long live gaming!
While it feels like a lifetime ago, fun fact about me is that in the mid 2000s I worked in the video game industry as both a QA tester for the PS2 and Wii versions of Rockband 2, including additional track packs for PS3 and Xbox, and eventually as an associate producer for Rockband Japan and Bonk: Brink of Extinction for the Xbox live arcade, PS3 and Wii.
What’s more interesting is I did it while living in Houston, Texas which is nearly impossible to do. How? Well I got a job around 2007 in a smaller game dev company that started out in Plano and moved its headquarters to Houston by the name of Pi Studios.
Pi studios at the time worked out a deal with Harmonix to create the Wii and PS2 versions of all Rockband titles at that time leaving Harmonix to focus on the then current gen systems.
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and as the popularity of the games decreased Pi Studios lost its partnerships and the company eventually went broke.
I still have great memories of working in the industry and these priceless copies of the games I helped create that were given to me with all of the teams sigs on it.
Oh and if you’re wondering Rockband Japan and Bonk:Brink of Extinction on Xbox live?!?!? Those games were terminated mid development so unfortunately I never had the chance to have a released game with credit as an associate producer.
I write all of this not just to take a trip down memory lane but to honor all the game companies that both still exist and those that failed putting all of themselves into an industry they love. You can’t even begin to imagine the amount of blood, sweat and tears that teams put into these games just to leave their mark on the industry that helped inspire them to chase happiness.
A salute to you all and the gamers worldwide that make their struggles worth it!
