On February 15, 2019, Hometown Life covered the Healthy Livonia initiative, launched by St. Mary Mercy Livonia and other organizations in the Livonia, MI community. The vision is to become the healthiest city in the nation. Participants use an app called Carrot to gain virtual coins by routinely hitting step goals. Local businesses and parks have beacons that ping users, which builds a healthy community atmosphere while rewarding Healthy Livonia participants with usable digital currency.

I haven't posted a fitness update in a few weeks so heres my week 7 progress pic. Starting to see some leg definition happening 😀 Also I am so happy that I can lift half of my body weight considering when I first began my body was so weak that I could barely lift 5 kgs. Yay for non scale victories 😍
