First food stop in Anaheim...iHop to try the infamous “lobliner” as created by @marclobliner - chicken fajita omlette with egg whites and choc chip pancakes! Disclaimer...forgot to remove cheese and sour cream but I’ll walk them off 😅
Lately, I have been seeing a lot of posts about hustling almost 24/7 and while that clearly shows how dedicated you are to your work, it doesn't encapsulate fully on how much you value your work because if you really did, you would value your health as your utmost priority.
Without a healthy mind and body, you wouldn't be able to execute your plans on your business and when your business does succeed, you might not be able to witness it anymore.
In 2013, a Japanese journalist working for NHK died after suffering from heart failure due to stress and overworking. According to the company that she works for, she had punched in 159 OF OVERTIME IN JUST ONE MONTH!
So before you work to death for that dough, I encourage you all to take breaks in between working days and in between tasks.
You don't necessarily have to take a vacation off to Maldives just to get away from your job.
Small, everyday habits of learning to respect and listening to your body can go a long way when it comes to lengthening your life with your business and your loved one.
You might need that coffee break now, so TAKE IT.
Just finished a task? Fish out your phone and ask your loved ones on how they are. You have a break, TAKE IT.
Whenever and wherever you can, just TAKE A BREAK.
That’s right! We’re having a little baby come August, 2019 🥰 I decided at the beginning of January to deactivate this account for a short period of time. Although myself and husband are so thrilled to grow our family the pregnancy itself caused a lot of anxiety as well as slight depression. I felt pressure from a lot of aspects from my life and decided I needed to take a step back to focus on my mental health. It’s been so nice to be back and feeling like myself (for the most part 😛) Pregnancy has inspired some new posts speaking honestly and truthfully about the process and how it’s such a different journey for every woman and couple. I can’t wait to share the revamped blog and my new ideas with you all 😊 thank you for being so patient with me and supportive over the last year! August 2019 here we come (Olive is still getting used to the idea and may need some extra time!) 🤰
Love how flame and ash of a wood kiln impart flashes of colour across the face of these pots. Although wood-firing is so much work I’m only willing to partake every once in a long while. This and one other small wood fired planter are available in my shop, I think they’re special ones....
Snip its of bliss... The morning smiles, giggles, and snuggles fuel my soul... My joy, my sons, my creations... These two have brought about utmost clarity to my life.
Diligence to push forward, and patients in the momment. Watching their bond grow is magic. 🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘 #brothers#growing#morningsnuggles

Spring vibes. My creative energy is exploding. So many ideas. So much to do.
There is still a bite in the air and a few spots of snow on the ground, but I am spending every possible second in my greenhouse with my hands in the dirt, preparing to plant.
The tractors are in the fields doing their work as well.
The grass is greening and the sun light gains in strength.
Everything...everything tells the message of death turning back into life.
How are you celebrating the return of spring?
