When you eat breakfast, you are essentially breaking an eating fast after a night of sleep, so while any type of breakfast is possible, you want to eat something healthy, because you are powering up your day, and replenishing your blood glucose levels after a night’s rest - glucose being your body’s energy source to fuel your body and brain. 
Breakfast should be treated as a chance to restore your body and prepare it for the day ahead, so trade in those donuts and toaster strudels for heart and brain healthy foods like eggs, oatmeal, and smoothies.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Yield: One Serving

10-ounces fresh ginger tea
2-ounces organic cream, 1/2 & 1/2, coconut milk or cashew milk
2 teaspoons raw cacao powder or carob powder
1 teaspoon Ashwagandha powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 Tablespoon coconut butter or ghee (optional)
Maple syrup to taste

I have been super sick these last few weeks so getting uni work done has been a challenge! 😪 so this week while I’ve been feeling better I have been binge watching my lectures and my brain is exhausted 😂😪😴
I promised you all I'd workout today and I did! I was going to start 80 day obsession but I realized it was an hour long and I only had 30 mins. Instead I did 30 mins of cardio and will start 80 day obsession tomorrow.

Pesto Oven-Roasted Hasselback potatoes is your go-to potluck dinner. 
Quick instructions:

Slice thin slits in small potatoes

Brush the potatoes with olive oil and stuff the pesto in the slits you made

Oven bake for about an hour at 200C til golden brown and cooked.

Today is a big day for me!!! I started bench pressing (33 pounds currently), put 2 more pounds on my curling bar (currently 22), and added 15 pounds to my leg extensions (currently 75)! This is absolutely mind blowing to me. Before, I couldn’t imagine myself where I am today. I’ve never felt stronger, happier, or more fit. Working out isn’t just physical, it’s mental too. You have to tell yourself to push yourself. Curl a few more times, build up your strength. Before you know it, what you’re currently curling will seem like nothing. If you don’t have a strong mindset about working out, you won’t get very far. You’ll quit when there’s no need to. You’ll say “that’s good enough,” instead of, “omg I can’t believe I did that much!” If you have a strong mindset, and you’re determined, you are more than likely to reach your goals. Keep pushing yourself to be your absolute best!

When do your cravings hit? Mine are typically around 9 PM after a day of #wellnessadventures. It’s typically that calling for something sweet to close off the day and I’ve had this tendency for as long as I can remember. For the longest time I thought it was an awful habit but now I recognize it as a groove in my brain and I can choose to respond however I want. Some days I have a few dates with sunbutter, other days I eat #chocolate, and often I just stay on the sofa, drink water, and remember that this too shall pass. .

Catherine of Red Neck Goat Ranch is a true local artist with a passion that goes deeper than the creation of a final product. Working with mostly Alpaca and Merino wool, her crochet creations are of the highest quality, unique and exceptionally local. They are a wool producing goat farm, so naturally, Catherine processes the raw wool and brings it through the felting and hand dyeing steps to end up with beautiful unique yarns and felts. 🐐🧶She then takes these materials and quickly turns them into warm and delicate items of clothing. It is rare for you to find Catherine at market without a needle and project in hand- her passion simply doesn’t quit! Ask her about her hand painted yarns and how she manages to get such brilliant colours into her work. -

I thought it was time to re-introduce myself around here! Hi!👋🏻 I’m Abby, a college student majoring in Elementary Education who loves dogs, dark chocolate, and all things Young Living!🐶🍫🌿

I started using oils almost three years ago after my doctor recommended them for my gut, skin, and seasonal sensitivities. After seeing such amazing results, I couldn’t help but tell people about them (hello! I’m a teacher at heart!). Since then, my team has grown to include over 200 families choosing better for themselves and their kids.

There is not a day that goes by when I am not thankful for the way these oils have made me feel and for the business Young Living has given me! I get to spend my free time “working” a job I love alongside some of my best friends; all while supporting my dream of having complete freedom in my life (health, financial, and time)!

Mondays are for Moms!  Tonight, I'm shouting out to Cort for crushing her goals!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 “🌈 My journey: 1-month postpartum vs. 9-months postpartum 🙏🏻🙌🏻!! After I became a mother I felt defeated. I doubted myself and thought 'how am I going to do this'...get back in shape, stay on top of the house, be a mom and get my business back after taking a year off?

There was a point when I didn’t think I could do it; I had the baby blues. I was emotional, hormonal and physically drained. You’re so exhausted as a new mom, you don’t even have energy to take a shower but you know you need to take time for yourself.

So what did I do? I turned my I can’ts into I cans. The enemy of belief is self-doubt and most of us experience or have experienced some sort of self-doubt in our lives that has held us back. You can do anything you put your mind to❤️! “

Never did I think that "a shake" could change my entire life! I use to feel tired ALL the time & also somewhat depressed!! I was soooooo out of love with myself & after the 2 kids, my body was not my happy place!! Changing my breakfast changed all of that for me!! I feel energised, happy, healthy & comfortable in my own skin again!! What's not to love right? .
