Una delle domeniche più belle degli ultimi tempi in compagnia di un'amica che ho da quando avevo 6 anni che non vedevo da almeno un anno perché lontana 1000km da me. Ma nonostante la distanza rimaniamo sempre vicine con il cuore. ♥
It baffles me that I used to drink milk from the breast of a mother of another species. SO BIZARRE!!! Reposted from @belinda_vegan - Dehorning: Dairy’s Dark Secret
Many people are surprised to learn that nearly all cows used for milk are born with tissue that will develop into horns. That’s because most farmers remove the sensitive horn tissue or the horns themselves from the cows’ skulls using searing-hot irons, caustic chemicals, blades, or handsaws.
Animals often struggle violently and are therefore held still manually or in a “head bail” (a metal apparatus for restraining a cow by the neck) during the painful dehorning process, which is frequently performed without painkillers and results in severe pain that lasts for hours and can become chronic. Dr. William Muir, a professor of animal sciences at Purdue University, describes dehorning as “a bloody and painful process that no one likes to do.” A Vermont farmer who breeds cows for the dairy industry has admitted that only about 10 percent of calves who are dehorned receive proper pain medication.
This is what animal agriculture does to babies. The easiest and most effective way for consumers to spare cows the misery of farms is to stop buying cow’s milk and other dairy “products” and choose instead from the numerous #plantbased milks, cheeses, yogurts, coffee creamers, and ice creams available in grocery stores.
EMBRACE VEGANISM 🌱

REALLY ABBY? If this were done to you or your child, I'm sure you would feel differently. Wake up! Stop supporting animal abuse and cruelty. Veterinarians are supposed to help animals not harm them.

Collab for this weekend between Bar Pa Tea and @patisserievanessa ! Matcha and raspberry everything 💚❤️
I’m not even joking when I say Bar Pa Tea specials remind me of Supreme. They’re only available for a weekend in limited quantities and they never repeat the same one twice. Can’t even judge bc I’m rushing to line up for every new special 😂 their items are too good to resist
“People whose go-to ice cream topping is fruit- who hurt you?” #guiltyascharged 😹
We just returned home from three jam packed days in San Francisco, and one of our favorite stops was the Museum Of Ice Cream! It was chock full of colorful sets (on par with a Willy Wonka Factory), had complementary sweets and goodies at every turn (cotton candy, mochi, and 🍦), and even a pool filled full of sprinkles. 😍 It was a place that welcomed you to check in with your inner child and cut loose.
Where’s that last place you visited that embraced all things fun and colorful? Comment below! 👇🏼
