New spoken word called Price to pay! Full version on IGTV and later this week on YouTube for who is more interested in there.
debut book Letters to you coming this August 2019 stay tuned!
I know there is a price to pay for what I did
A price probably too high for just me
But I had to see
I had to see you
Wrap my arms around you once more
Just like we were before
Could we pretend for one small night
That we are alright
That as soon as the sun comes back up
You won’t even see me again my love
That I’m standing here, is for me
As selfish as that might be
I left for myself, and that’s what I’ll do
Right after I told you
Showed you the stars in the sky
That carry my name and I
Won’t be back ever again
I won’t pretend
And try to stay for you
We don’t work, no matter what we do
No matter how hard I try
No matter the tears I would cry
Nothing is strong enough and alive
For us to remain side by side
There is no reason, excuse or motive for me to say
Or why I have to show you that I’m this happy
I needed time to heal
I needed time for me
I started picking myself back up
Started practicing self-love
I started to breathe the second I stopped breathing for you
I never should’ve even tried to
I started living the second I walked out on us
The second that I was done
Was the first time that I didn’t wanted to love you anymore
So I had to walk out the door
And walk out on a part of me
But after the dust had cleared
I found myself right here
No longer distracted trying to change
Trying so hard to not be found strange
For loving someone with every vein
While being inflamed
The flames were finally gone
And I could start moving on
But not before I went back one last time
And told you all about this progress of mine
This is goodbye, for good.
Day 110 - A Mashup

Had the extreme privilege of jamming with Chinese celebrity and popstar sensation @tyler_yee. After touring all of europe he managed to find time in his extraordinaryily busy schedule to pop into his hometown. I remember when I first jammed with him and I told him not to forget me when he got famous...hes a man of his word. Dont let his dashing handsomeness distract you from his incredible musical skills.
Last Ottawa show before we take it to Toronto and mix it up seriously with the incomparable Christine Duncan and her stellar Element Choir. First come join us at the Record Centre, Sunday, May 5, at 4pm, for a lively set. Free no cover.
Who/what was/is your favorite live performance? Do you like up being up close or chilling in the back?
Pretty hard to decide right?! My favorite part about the weather getting better and the summer months coming are outdoor performances. Colorado has some of the best amphitheaters like @redrocksco , one of the only all natural outdoor amphitheaters in the world. What better than being on the grass, or rocks listening to your favorite jams with other fans as loud as it can be? Fucking great right?! Makes you want to find a goddamn concert right now!
Seriously don't wait for the weather to be nice. Some people don't have too ha. Live performances are exhilarating for music lovers because it's musis in its natural state. Amplified. I would hope we all know how music is made. You don't have to be a professional pianist or riff specialist to understand that music is vibration. So when you're in that crowd why do you think the people in the front are more pumped?
It's not because they paid more, did more drugs or are bigger fans than the people in the back. No, it's because they literally feel the vibration of drums, guitar or bass that those speakers are amplifying. Have you ever paid attention to the crowd? The ones in front are always crazy partying but the ones in the back are in chill mode. .
I'm not saying one is worse than the other, don't get all PC on me. Just, next time, notice the difference within yourself as the music gets louder and you literally feel it. How does it make you feel mentally, physically, emotionally? Then step away from the music...was it a totally different feeling? .
I personally love being up front! I'm closest to the artist and I get so worked up. Being in the back though, I have room to mingle, dance (depending on the kind of music) and hang out with the people I'm with. So you do you baby! Enjoy the vibrations 😘!!!
