I however am NOT in the open, but that’s NOT stopping me from gettin work done and joining in on the fun!
Today I did NOT do 19.1 😜
One thing I have loved about #crossfit is the fact that every workout can either be scaled or modified to fit your fitness level and equipment (or lack there of..).
Don’t have access to everything I would need for a full 19.1, so I changed out the 20# wall balls with 20# dB thrusters.
No rower, so I modified with some seated cable rows.
I can average a 1:45/500m row pace normally and that’s about 20 cals/minute. Figured 60 seconds of rows would be about 19 cals.
Is it perfect? No.
Is it exactly the same? No.
Am I still putting in hard work and getting fit with a community of dedicated fit people across the world? Hell yes.
Fitness happens everywhere.
