Sometimes #soulfulsunday means going back to your roots. And I’m a believer my roots are actually blonde 👩🏼🦱 Despite my quick stint as a redhead, I haven’t gone full on blonde since last October and lord I’m happy to be back! Mama feels a little fierce and fab now thanks to the amazing curl goddess @leysahairandmakeup 👑 She always manages to get my color perfect while maintaining the integrity of my curls.
Besides going blonder, this weekend has been super busy for me but well spent with lots of family love. I’m mentally gearing up for the last episode of Game of Thrones (I’M NOT READY 😭) and prepping to take on Monday. How’s everyone else doing this weekend?
After completing the videos for the #14daychallenge hosted by @vonevashapewear and myself, I had to sit back and reflect. Just a few years ago I never would have imagined I would be in this place. It was vital I reveled in the blessings that are happening around me, through me & for me.
It never happened for me because I never thought it was POSSIBLE FOR ME!
One day I shifted my mind set and said if they could do it I could do it better!
I’m not special, I’m not magical ! Just ya Regular, Shmegular Girl from The Bronx! #melaninqueen#transformation#believeinyourself
