I've been really focused on being more present with my little love and it seems to have really improved our time together. Tantrums still happen but way less often than a month ago. Being pregnant and low energy made it challenging to find new ways to keep him entertained and have enough patience to work through the tantrums, but I did it. Now, most days we spend at least an hour on our front porch just enjoying the nice weather, blowing bubbles, and watching the birds, bees and butterflies. It's a great way for us to just hang out together. I remind myself often that Atlas deserves the best mommy, which I'm definitely not, but I always try to be better for him. Being a good mom is seriously hard work, but it's so worth it when moments like this happen. Although I'm excited for our next little boy to join the family, I'm also getting sad at the thought of losing all my one on one time with Atlas.
