The leopard (Panthera pardus) is one of the five extant species in the genus Panthera, a member of the Felidae. It occurs in a wide range in sub-Saharan Africa, in small parts of Western Asia, on the Indian subcontinent to Southeast and East Asia. It is listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List because leopard populations are threatened by habitat loss and fragmentation, and are declining in large parts of the global range. 🐆
Happy Easter everyone 🌸 Truth be told I have not been uploading much lately either because I’m not enjoying the content I make, I don’t like how I look in the picture or I am being too much of a perfectionist. My friend @kerstinloves spoke up about the pressure of constantly feeling ‘pretty’ in today’s society and with Instagram being such a visual & overused platform it’s something I can relate to.
Instagram can make it seem if my world is always glamorous, pretty & aesthetically pleasing. But it’s not. I won’t take pictures on the days that I feel like shit or uncomfortable in my own body. That’s a part I decide to now show you, but I think we unconsciously fill in the gaps of the lives we follow online. Let’s stop doing that, and focus on ourselves a little more first. And like my friend Kerstin said, don’t just be ‘pretty’ but be pretty kind, pretty cool, pretty funny and a whole lot more than that ✨
seeing this giant was insane, especially because we weren’t expecting a view like this! At the time, @jakesnave and I were on an (overpriced but necessary) bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo🗻⛩. The next time I visit Japan, I’d love to take a closer look
My hope is that this week will be the light at the end of the tunnel. Tomorrow I have a follow up appointment with my new GP to discuss the results of the 20-odd blood tests we ran. The day after I have a pelvic ultrasound.
I expect I’ll be receiving two or more diagnoses in the very near future. My blood tests were positive for a general #autoimmune screening and my surgical notes suggested I may have #adenomyosis.
In the meantime I’m trying my best to keep myself focused on other things, which only ever works so much.
