@lukelikesgames tagged me to show some old and new with #toretroandbeyond well I dont have much new stuff so here is one old game and one not quite as old game ;-)
Mario bros (1983) for the Atari 2600 with Super Mario Bros (1985) for the NES sneaking up from behind. .
I like to compare the jump between these as the leap from SMW to Mario64, not graphically but regarding the concept and game play SMB was a game changer ;-) Both good games nonetheless.
Panic Restaurant for the Nintendo NES - Another really fun uncommon / rare late release game. One of the things I enjoy about collecting is discovering the fun titles I never experienced as a kid. #nintendo#nes#raregames#panicrestaurant
First episode of our playthrough of Megaman 2 is up! Dylan plays his favorite game of all time! This series gets very emotional. You’re gonna wanna watch this one! Link in bio. SUBSCRIBE for constant gaming video uploads
Grabbed this the other day for my daughter on a whim. She just started showing interest in video games. I was her age when i had the original Nintendo. It’s a good starting point to get familiar with controllers and the basics. Crazy no one local carries a 10ft controller extension nor an official controller. I got a few hours worth of therapeutic cussing in yesterday playing Metroid. I remember renting that, Castlevania and Xevious at the VHS ( and still some Beta) store. Sounds like i bought it for me. I thought it had regular Contra but it doesn’t. She’s enjoying Punch Out and Excitebike. Once she gets the hang of Mario Bros and moves on to Super Mario Bros, she’ll be good. That’s what i mainly wanted her to experience, Super Mario and Legend of Zelda. To see her enjoying herself, and i get to play too, its worth it. Spent a whole $75 total with the 6ft extension from Gamestop. Now that i know we’re keeping it, need to buy an extra controller off ebay #nintendo#nes#nesclassicedition#zelda#supermariobros#castlevania#metroid#contra#doubledragon
