“Friends are flowers in life’s garden.” -Okakuru Kakuzo.
I’d been waiting for several weeks to see my caladium bulbs come to life. They were from Walmart, so... I was doubtful 😝 I was so grumpy that they took longer than 5 weeks to show any growth. I thought them dead. A couple days ago, there they were. I wasn’t even looking for them. I thank God for the friends in my life and treasure the moments I see them bloom. Shoutout to Amanda (2nd girl from left) for being such a light in a dark world, and shoutout to my coworker Alicia in the 3rd picture, sharing her new life with me. #greenthumbwannabe#thankful#workinprogress#thatswhatfriendsarefor#godisthebestdesigner#nevergiveup#whatawonderfulworld
*quite emotional post alert*
As I turned 28 today, I can also celebrate 10 years of my adulthood 🙄 And I find this occasion to be a good turning point in my life. I don’t like looking into the past, I don’t like looking into the future, I like to live now and focus on little things that life gives us everyday. However, nights have been drilling my mind very conscientiously, leading me to the conclusion. Summarizing my adult life I would say that I wasted the past 10 years, and I am unhappy about some ways life has chosen for me, but I would never like to be back in 2009 and start it over once again. This is the moment I need the change, I need to focus on myself exclusively, and treat myself better. I sacrificed too much of myself for the things that were not worth doing it, and now it’s time to be back with the kind of ambitious thinking that I was supposed to use sometimes in the past. I need to remember to never give up, I need to focus on my passions, I need freedom. I’m gonna still enjoy only the moments that happen now, but with more care about not loosing myself in the life’s vicious circle, which I was a part of. One photo of the collection above is 18-years-old me, lying on the same bed as today, thinking about the deepest worries as usually during the nighttime, then gathering them in a diary. I wish myself a lot of strength to fight my demons ✌️#nevergiveup#birthday#birthdaypost#nowishes#nogifts#nodrama#florenceandthemachine#poetry#music#passion#changes#care#lost#fight#adult#18yo#28yo#forever#buddhism#karma#faith#tattoos#moments#memory#story#backontrack#selfie

I used to read alllll the time, but now with @audible , I will listen to way more books. I love them all...fiction, non-fiction, personal development, & Bible studies.
Currently, I’m listening to @jensincero You are a Badass and reading a @sophiekinsellawriter romance. 🤓🥰 I tell you I like them all.
What are you reading?
Motivational Monday! 🙌🏼 This week I want to challenge you!
I want YOU to find your confidence 😊
Being confident does not make you cocky or self absorbed! Being confident is accepting yourself, flaws, strengths, weaknesses, & all!
This week, look in a mirror and say something that you love about yourself! Yes this sounds cliche but you know what? This is exactly what helped me when I had zero confidence!
My fiancé, @t_airgood would make me look in a mirror and tell myself what I loved about who I am and at first I thought it was stupid, until I started to feel better about myself and started to clear my head of those negative self degrading thoughts!!! I’m so thankful he helped me through that so now I want to help you all!
Acknowledge who YOU are and ACCEPT it! Absolutely no one is perfect, we all have our flaws but that’s what makes us unique.
I challenge you to do this for at least one week. If you want to talk to me a little bit more about this subject or have any questions you want to ask me please don’t hesitate to DM me, I would love to help 💗
It's official!!! Gotta thank the Man above cause He knows the challenges and obstacles I had to get through to get to this point 🙏🏾 but I couldn't take my eyes off the big picture.
With that said and done, if you or anyone you know is looking to purchase a home (including multi-units), flip a house, rent an apartment, looking for locations for their business (office space, warehouse, etc.) I'm your guy! 💪🏾 Call me! 🏠🏚🏢🏙🔑🔑🔑
befreit unsere Gegenwart automatisch die anderen.✨ #spruchdestages#gymlifestyle#fit#fitness#motivation#fitnessmotivation#sport#spruch#lifestyle#probierwasneues#model#angehenderbodybuilder#boxen#nevergiveup#neverstopdreaming
The U.S. Military Academy at West Point's class of 2019 is set to include 34 African-American women, the highest number in the prestigious academy's history. "My hope when young Black girls see these photos is that they understand that regardless of what life presents you, you have the ability and fortitude to be a force to be reckoned with,” cadet Tiffany Welch-Baker told USA Today.
