This would definitely be up there on my list of favorite campsites to date. We got to the parking lot a little before sunset, the trailhead said it would be a 2km hike to get to this area. We were talking about how long it would take to hike that with our gear, I said "It'll probably take us conservatively about 45mins taking photos and stopping and all." Oh how wrong I was. 😂 It was almost 2 hours because the uphill part was basically just mud with little makeshift wooden planks so you don't sink in the muck and then the downhill part of the trek was really just a pain with how slippery everything was and it wasn't really a trail but just big wet rock scramble down to the beach. There were probably about 10 other tents out in this spot but everyone just spread out and took their own little nook. I couldn't even enjoy the evening that much since I was feeling absolutely exhausted and sorta sick but I forced myself to take a couple of shots before sacking out which was definitely worth it.
