When you think you're on top of the world, got your shit sorted and then life blindsides you.
Some small events can have such a crazy ripple effect on your emotions it knocks you off your feet. You're not even sure where it came from, why the pain is so real and overwhelming. Even if you feel like it's a situation you've easily dealt with before [What the hell brain?!] But we all have the option to make a choice about where this event takes us next... Do we stay on the floor, feeling sorry for ourselves, asking the "whys", torturing ourselves with the "ifs", let it negatively impact other areas of our lives etc
OR do we simply get up, dust ourselves off, acknowledge or even find thanks in what's happened and then carry on
Time for some reflection, resetting and a new pair of pants.
