Silver highlights😍😍 To clients that want a cool toned blonde that lasts, I always suggest over-toning. // To counteract the yellow that naturally lives in blonde levels, I have to use a violet toner. Since (violet=blue+red) and blue is the largest color molecule, it doesn’t drive as far into the hair as toners with warm or neutral bases. This means toners with blue fade out a little faster than other colors. // “Over-toning” means making it a little more intense than your desired result. If you leave the salon a little silvery (you may even see subtle hints of light violet in some places), it will calm down to the color you want after just a few washes at home! If you leave the salon a little more subtle, the natural yellow tones will start popping back through a little bit sooner. Hope this helps you plan for your next blonding service!
