Y’all. Talk about the longestttt week ever. I last told you guys about our big move, and while we weren’t exactly expecting to move the next day...the rain made our plans for us. Here in Alabama, it has literally rained [flooded] every single day. The day that we moved...the rain chance was only 70% 🤣 So here is a picture of a room that is FAR from done...but the bed is made, the sun is peeking through for a brief moment, and that little girl slept approx 12 hours last night 🙌🏻
Happy Friday-eve!!! I had a few questions on the vases in my foyer. The large one was my very first purchase from @magnolia years ago and I don’t believe they still have them, but the 2 shorter ones are both from @nest_decor here in Franklin and they are so fun and were so reasonably priced. If you are local, go check out their gorgeous store!
Our dining room floor is almost done! I’m just so unbelievably proud of Grant! We just took our future dining room table to be stripped last weekend. It is a 7 foot pine table which was a hand me down from my great aunt and Grant and I are so in love with it. Can’t wait to show you this room completed! Swipe left😉
Almost the weekend friends! We are keeping it chill like Miss Abby waiting on Friday 🙌💗 📷 Amy @the_refinedfarmhouse featuring our Sherwood Gardens Garland, Italian Cream Wreath and Pewters Winner Cup 🌿
We finished up this remodel 3 years ago & when I see this picture, it still gives me all the feels. The transformation was one for the books; it was my first client remodel & was for sweet, sweet friends! They wanted guidance & help with all the decisions that have to be made during a remodel.
Y’all these windows are everything & they overlook Lake Conroe! Be sure to check out our stories today to see more of this transformation & it’s live on the blog with crazy before & after photos.
Do you love big windows?!
Seriously, this procreate app is legit! (Swipe for video) I love it! It is AmAzInG! It certainly does not have the features I am use to in PS, but it is great for a sketch book on the go. It will never replace my traditional sketching with pencil and paper, but this has been really interesting to learn. I created this on my Iphone XS Max with the Procreate Pocket and Wacom Bamboo stylus. Would really like to see Apple come out with a pen for the Iphone. I tell ya...technology just blows my mind! #procreatepocket#procreate#wacombamboostylus#wacom#apple#iphonexsmax#digitalart#digitalpainting
I shared about this in stories today but I get so many questions about my rug and it’s finally back in stock! It’s the perfect neutral but it’s so affordable and easy to clean. You can swipe up on my stories to shop, or shop this room by screen shot, or head to the @liketoknow.it app. .
Also, I’ll be back to my hashtag challenge for #everydaycasualelegance tomorrow, so get your home decor pics ready. I can’t wait to see all the inspo! #maunelegacyhome .
Schools closed early for flooding today and some schools are out tomorrow😒. My husband calls it a “gully washer” (sweet Kentucky boy) and I am dreaming of the warm and sunny spring days ahead💜. Throwback to last year’s dining room #tablescape!
I’ve been working on my first “What Would Jordan Do” post for the blog and I’m SO EXCITED about it! Some buddies in the Jordan Jean Community on Facebook shared rooms they need some inspiration for and I’m sharing what I would do in each of them. It has been SO FUN! My hope is that this tribe of ours grows into a big one in which all of us can provide inspiration and encouragement for each other. If you haven’t joined, there’s a post on the blog to learn how. You are all welcome at our table! 🌿 jordanjean.com
I always look for something special to spend Christmas money on from my parents and Jeffrey’s parents...and this year one thing I was on the search for was vintage wood cookie molds. Sweet Tessa @nineandsixteen shared some Christmas cookie molds and I immediately fell in love and knew I needed some! So I searched @etsy everyday for a bit and finally found these that were just perfect to me!
They are from a flea market in France, it is a man and a woman, and they both have what looks to be an ‘S’ carved on their belly...so that was one thing that made me think they were meant to be..since our last name begins with s😉 And I love that the woman is a bit smaller/shorter than the man, and that she is wearing an adorable little scalloped crown. They are imperfect and cracked and have such a history and exactly what I envisioned in this spot❤️ And if you friends don’t already follow Tessa, you should run now! Both she and her home are absolutely beautiful!
