New in! Sisley Stick Solaire Teinté SPF 50+ Tinted Suncare
I got this stick with a very good discount, but it was still expensive nevertheless. Every once in a while I like to indulge myself with some sort of luxury skincare and this time, I chose Sisley. Necessary? No. Nice to have? Yes!
The stick contains 15g (0.52 oz) of product. It has an SPF 50+, PA++++ and its active ingredients are titanium dioxide and zinc oxide (both nano), so it's a mineral sunscreen. According to Sisley, it's supposed to be very water resistant.
The tint is pretty neutral, it suits my skin tone perfectly. Shade: somewhere in between light to medium. Coverage: light, but buildable to almost medium. You can see the colour on the second picture. 👉📷 Sisley claims this stick to have a matte finish. Well, I wouldn't say so. The ingredient list shows several butters, waxes and oils, so be aware that this product is pretty emollient and probably not suitable for very oily skin types. Normal, dry and very dry skin types might get a semi-matte to dewy or even almost glowy finish with this stick, depending on the skin type, how much is applied and how much skincare is used beneath it.
I use this stick on the go as a touch-up, not as my sole source of sunprotection. Particularly my under eye/cheekbone area needs a bit of extra sun protection and care during the day. The stick doesn't interfere with my makeup, when I dab a bit of the product on my areas of concern. So far, I like it very much (aside from the price). Contains no drying alcohol or fragrance, as far as I can see.
