I wanted to share this to show my progress with my shoulder, but also to show how defeated it can still make me feel in the moment. While doing this set of transformers this morning, which included not only a burpie move but also tricep pushups, I felt so defeated when I couldn't PUSH like I used to. I know what I used to be able to do. And it can be so frustrating to not be able to do those things. But after the fact, watching this video, I am so proud of how far I've come. Burpies?! Tricep pushups?! Girl!!!! Not even 6 weeks ago you broke your freaking shoulder!!! The gains I've made are huge!!! And in a way shorter time than I expected! I AM A ROCKSTAR!!! AND I CAN DO HARD THINGS! Heavy Dips...I don’t often dedicate workouts just to my arms but when I do hit my triceps I love doing different variations of dips...the perfect exercise to build muscle and strength in all 3 parts of the muscle and you can easily load weight as you progress stronger...bar dips, bench dips, chair dips, this dip variation mix it up the possibilities are endless no excuses you can do dips anywhere!!
