Rating: 3/10 second course \\ the second course was an interesting combo. The top is a piece of seemingly uncooked tofu, topped with some apple sauce. And a cup of fresh and seemingly uncooked fresh ground corn juice.
I appreciate freshness, but this was a little too seemingly uncooked and tasteless for my already very healthy taste buds.
Service: I absolutely did not like our waiter. Omakases are supposedly to be enjoyed slowly, but with every dish our waiter repeated: 我不是趕你哦，我只是先把你的碟子收掉，你之後慢慢吃哦。 And when we asked what a certain ingredient was, he told us to Google it ourselves so he doesn't provide incorrect information. And since we had six people and the table behind us had four, he recommended us to ask the table behind us if one of us could take taxi back to taipei city with them. Service was absolutely unacceptable.

Sushi Nomura ✨ // An absolutely fantastic omakase - thank you Chef Nomura for a delicious meal. Starting at 2000NTD for omakase in Taipei, this lunch was nothing short of its 1 Michelin star accolade. The real standout was the rice - “a blend of koshihakari from Kakomachi and nanatsuboshi from Hokkaido, cooked in Mount Fuji spring water and seasoned with a blend of akazu and regular sushi vinegar” (Michelin guide). You can taste each individual grain of rice and it really is perfectly seasoned with a touch of tartness that compliments the oily fish beautifully.
Weekday lunch reservations are relatively easy to get - just call a week ahead to secure your place.
