Sometimes Tuesday feels like a throwaway day. I am full of fire on Monday, and then trying to play catch-up on the weekend. How are you going to make the most of today? Shout out to @bottleandblush for rocking a hat in a way I never could! 👒
I got back from little trek through the Southwest right before this freak winter storm hit Colorado. What a beautiful trip it was though. I took the time to discover some new sights, create, and dream about the future. (All without a single hit of peyote). From what I’ve found, the desert is a good place to develop vision. It’s strips you down and almost cleanses you. It’s a place of majesty and wonder, but it’s still raw and authentic. After ten days of being alone with your own thoughts though, you’re ready to move onward, leaving only footprints and taking photos, dreams, and a boatload of sand in my shoes... and I swear, no peyote!
🎶 We come from the land of the ice and snow. From the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow 🎶 Or in this case, blow. Fun music fact: The legendary Led Zeppelin wrote the classic “Immigrant Song” about Iceland after visiting and playing the amazing country, after some obstacles, back in Summer of 1970. Hearing that from our tour guide Thor during @sagatravel’s Golden Circle Tour, almost two months ago, made me love that song even more 😍 Interview quote, found on Wikipedia, from Robert Plant explaining their experience in comments. This photo was taken of the lively Strokkur geyser which spots water 100 feet into the air every 5-10 minutes. Such an unreal, larger than life sight to witness. #traveltuesday#icelandicgeyser#strokkur#goldencircle#melindaoswandelphoto#theoswandelstakeiceland#visiticeland 🇮🇸
