During the second half of class, students play a game based around the economic theory known as the "Tragedy of the Commons," a theory publicized in 1833 by British economist William Foster Lloyd. The game allows the students to directly observe the difficulty of preserving a common pool of resources in the face of individual competition for that resource. #nhboardingschool#highmowingschool#waldorfeducation#boardingschool#waldorfboardingschool#technologyclass
