Take it for instance. You start a race as you do the same for a Monday week. With the negative attitude you bring you’ve already stumbled and tripped leaving yourself behind.

I want you to imagine this for a second. Imagine you jumped out of the line right when the beep went off and you’re ahead. Feels good right?

Moral of this post is as states. Monday is just as important as every other day. Don’t fall back on Tuesday to start your week right. Always shoot off the blocks and push for first place.

The more prepared you come to a task the higher your chances are of achieving it. Set the bar high and aim for the stars. Stop coming up with excuses and comforting yourself. Step out of your comfort zone ! You can do it.

For me, it used to look something like this, but I’ve actually changed my ways recently.
.
Now it usually contains a high/moderate amount of healthy fats and high protein. 💪
.
The reason for this is that it keeps insulin low and trains your body to become more efficient at using fats for fuel throughout the day.
.
I either wait to eat my carbs before my workout, 45min. Into my workout, or after my workout... it really just depends on what is most appropriate for that day. 🤷‍♂️
.
Recently my go-to has been 2-3 whole eggs with egg whites for extra protein (portion size depends on the day).
.
The quality of these Colombian eggs is INSANE. The yolk is actually orange, instead of yellow and my body metabolizes it so well it’s crazyyy. 🤯
.
By improving the quality of food I put into my body and manipulating the timing of my nutrients, I’ve been able to eat an extra 1,000-2,000 calories a day and my average weight hasn’t changed (plus I look leaner & bigger)!
.
Just goes to show that the quality of food you put into your body and how much of that food you actually ABSORB is just as important as how much you eat... 🤓
.
AKA it’s just not just calories in vs calories out because the quality of the food you eat and when you eat it influences that balance.
This 1,670 year old tree reminds me of the value of time.
.
Unfortunately we don’t have 1,670 years to live life and time is our MOST valuable currency, you can never get it back.
.
We all have the same 24 hours to go after our dreams.

The difference is what we do with that time.

The first pic is archived from my story 1 year ago. That was the flight I took from Tallahassee, Florida to California when I dropped out of college to begin my journey.

When I made the decision to drop out of college, I didn’t have a plan. I knew where I wanted to go, but no plan.

So why did I do it?

One word... INTUITION.

That is the ONLY reason I did it.

I knew I had to, there was no debating, there was no choice to be made.

Have you ever just known that you have to do something? Whether it makes sense or not, you just know.

That’s what happened.

So many people didn’t agree with my decision, including my own family, but I always knew that my intuition knew something they didn’t and I always chose to listen to it.

It has never steered me wrong.
.
Here’s the crazy part...
.
Everytime I follow my intuition, it has never made logical sense...
.
But when you take the leap of faith and trust in it, weird things happen.
.
The universe moves out of the way and things you never could have predicted start to happen.
.
This post isn’t about me.
.
This post is about the person reading this who deep down knows what they have to do, but are holding back because it doesn’t make “logical” sense.
.
Take the leap.

We are powerful beings. YOU ARE POWERFUL.

1 year later and I’m living my dreams of traveling the world and leading & inspiring people to live happier and more fulfilling lives.

I’m here to be an example for you.

I’ve been getting a lot of hate recently, and I’ll take that.

Although it’s ever easy, especially when you care about people, it’s a part of the process and I’ll take the sacrifice if I inspire 1 person to live out their dreams.

The Fast Wrap 🍑 🔥

After breaking my fast with Bone Broth & MCT Oil...
.
About an hour or two later, I have a small meal with moderate amount of protein and small amount of carbs...
.
No fats! Don’t mix carbs and fats after breaking a fast (if you want to burn/keep fat off), wait until later in the day!
.
The small amount of carbs will cause a small rise in insulin, but let it drop so when you eat a bigger, more satisfying meal later...
.
You don’t spike your insulin again so you don’t put on fat!
.
Now that I’ve done this, when I get hungry again I can go have that giant Chipotle bowl (if I want)...
.
Without having to worry about putting on fat.
.
RECIPE:
✅ Whole Grain Tortilla Wrap
✅ Shrimp
✅ Spinach
✅ Shredded Carrots
✅ Red Onions
✅ Pickled Cabbage
✅ Medium Salsa
