In LOVE with this glaze 😍 I just love how the red pops through the white, almost like looking at red berries in the snow. I know it’s too late to be thinking about snow, so this lil turtle friend can help you keep cool as it starts to get warmer ☀️
I’d also like to let you guys know that I called my mom and she told me that she knew the last mug was going to be brown because I do browns so much... I suppose showing her every piece I make payed off 😂
Just had a very sad visit at the @loggerheadmarinelifecenter which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to help injured turtles in Florida. It totally relies on donation. I had the opportunity to chat with a lot of the staff here and I have to say that they do a remarkable job. 👏🏻
They treat injured turtles with the ultimate goal to release them all back to the wild. Even those with severe injuries. Wen I saw that you could help those poor individuals with a small adoption fee of course I had to adopt two of them right away. I hope Topsy and Valentina are making back in the wild soon! 🤞🏻
Topsy was hit by a boat and ever since can’t stay underwater properly. They try to help him with weights to establish a new balance underwater.
Valentina is missing a front flipper and is suffering from chronic debilitation. She is treated topically with honey and a laser therapy.
Howard got hit by a boat and lost a lot of blood when he came in the Marine Center.
Happy Easter all!!🐰🍫🇦🇺 I haven't got a bunny because I've been at sea.. This one does actually leave her eggs on land though 🥚🥚😜 Found this guy coming up for air ( or possibly to smile for the camera 🤔) on lifou island New Caledonia 🇳🇨 Hope you're all having a great weekend!! ✌️
Mahalo to all the volunteers who cleaned the beach with us! A group of volunteers who didn’t know each other worked together to tackle a huge conglomerate of derelict fishing nets that washed ashore. It’s those items that can be so deadly to marine life as they get caught in it so it was neat to see the community group together to do whatever they could to cut the net and drag it ashore to be discarded! As you can see it was massive and heavy!
