The good news is, in the 6+ years I've lived here, I've never seen it this green. And we've got some snowpack in the mountains which will keep it green for a while. The bad news is it's unusually cool for #losangeles and hail 🥴 was reported in several parts of the city today. #weather#climatechange#socal

Joy is...at the beach.
It's so long since I've been to the beach. Yesterday the seas were pretty wild - although it doesn't show in the pictures. I must have snapped the photo in a rare moment of calm!
There's a cyclone off the coast - maybe heading this way, maybe not. But enough for predictions of wild seas, big winds and plenty of rain in the days to come.
Sometimes life is like that, too. Events might not directly affect us, but being on the edges of our life, we can still get their ripple effects. And they might be wild, and without the benefit of weather forecasters, we might not even realize where they're coming from. So next time you're feeling a bit unsettled, it might just be a matter of riding it out.
