Let me tell you a story about my girl @clareellenfit 👯♀️💗 Clare and I met right here on the gram about 8 months ago! She followed me, saw my post about expanding my girl gang and thought that this was just a social media training 😂 little did she know she was about to change her whole dang world.
Clare is naturally an introvert & was convinced that friends in her adult life just weren’t a thing. WROOOONG! 😏👯♀️ Quitting the corporate world to pursue her passion, she was hoping to just gain a few clients & impact the lives of those around her. She’s already helped SO many women on their health/fitness journey and has grown her girl gang faster than I’ve seen anyone grow before!

We moved my dad to his new home today. (I took one last selfie ... remember all those early morning posts from that bathroom? 😎) I miss my mom. At the same time we’re ready for this new chapter to begin and to not be in transition anymore. My eating has been SUPER dumb but I haven’t really been chaotic. Some of you understand what I mean. I feel mostly at peace though ... your girl won’t give up.
Grief is strange and magical and tiring and one of life’s greatest teachers. ❤️

Unfortunately, the last couple weeks of the challenge my hormones fought me (due to endometriosis) and I also caught the flu, oh man am I sick 🤒 this is a forced half smile on my face this morning 💀 so needless to say I am going to try again for the Spring challenge. 💪🏼

*KETO FUDGE BROWNIES*
This recipie I am SO excited to share with you guys! If you have ever had a cracker barrel Coca-cola cake, then you will find that this taste almost exactly like that😍 if you haven't ever had one, that's okay, this is as close as I will possibly ever get to one using almond flour rather than regular flour😁
-1 bar Baker's 100% cocoa baking chocolate
-4 and 1/2 oz butter (salted)
-3 large eggs
-15-20 drops stevia -3/4 cup powdered @swervesweetie -1 c. almond flour
-1/2 c. cocoa powder
-1/4 c. flax seed meal
-1/2 c. baking soda
-1 tsp. cream of tartar
-Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 8x8 brownie pan with oil or butter. Break chocolate bar into pieces w/butter into bowl and microwave on 15 second intervals and mix until completely melted and smooth. In another bowl mix together stevia, swerve, and eggs. Slowly beat in chocolate and butter to mix. Add dry ingredients slowly so cocoa doesn't explode into a cloud from bowl lol. This should make a very thick batter into your pan and bake for 30-35 min. Set aside and let cool while you make the chocolate topping.
Chocolate Fudge Topping ingredients:
-1/2 bar extra dark chocolate bar 85% cocoa (not 100%)
-2 tbs butter
-1 tbs MCT oil
-1/4 c. whipping cream
-1/4 c. granulated @swervesweetie -
-Break chocolate into pieces and put in pot with butter, MCT oil, whipping cream and swerve. Stir mixture until it starts to simmer and mixed thoroughly until smooth, take off heat and pour on top of brownies. Place in fridge and let the chocolate topping harden.
-1 small container raspberries
-3 tbs MCT oil
-1/8 c. granulated @swervesweetie -cheese cloth
-mix ingredients and bring them to a bowl then reduce heat to low and let simmer until completely cooked down and has stopped bubbling. Mush the mixture and strain through cheesecloth into a Mason jar to store. 😁🙌

I was craving wings pretty bad today so I got some. I prefer supporting local businesses but it’s harder to determine how many carbs you’re actually eating. I ordered parmesan and garlic and pepper wings. I bit into the garlic wings and they tasted sweet. 😬 I thought it might be lemon flavoring and ate all but 3. Almost immediately after leaving I felt a headache coming on and crashed hard on the way home. Lesson learned: even if the description doesn’t sound like it would have sugar, always ask. 🤦🏼♀️

Military press is one of my favorite shoulder movements. As Dorian Yates once said “shoulder width is an absolute requirement to display a V-taper that will make or break your physique” in other words BUILD THOSE SHOULDERS!
Reasons why I love dumbbell shoulder press vs. barbell? •unilateral work helps correct muscular imbalances
• it hammers your core-because the dumbbells are free moving and not on one plane of motion, therefore you are forced to engage
•it improves motor unit recruitment and you’ll have a greater number of muscle fibers to utilize during heavier lifts/weight
For this exercise I performed a heavier weight of 5-6 reps, then dropped about 20% and performed reps until failure
In six weeks I climbed, I committed, and I conquered. This was one of the hardest programs I’ve done but I modified when needed, I showed up consistently, and challenged myself every day. #iamproud 💪🏻🙌🏻 down over 7 pounds and 7 inches in six weeks!! Say what! Not every day will you be motivated and that’s where my accountability groups come in. Every day I saw my teammates pushing towards their goals. Every day I had them fighting alongside me. We walked past a dope wall and had to snap one for the one time. It's been really wild watching the transformation of my damn legs. Ya boi used to have chicken legs. Naw turkey legs. Them thangs were huge at the top with paper clip ankles at the bottom. Idk how the hell I even held myself up on them ankles back then. Here's to my lower body calming the hell down and evening out.

Feeling discouraged? Not seeing results fast enough? Feel like quitting!?! Keep going!!!!!! Often times our bodies will reflect the changes the number on the scale don’t. I remember feeling frustrated because I was eating clean & putting in more work than ever before, and the scale was barely budging. There was minimal movement on scale between these four pictures. The scale sometimes take a while to catch up, however our bodies will tell a completely different story. Take pics to document your progress. We miss Jayden so much in the weekdays so we live for the weekends lately and playing with him.
Our goal is NOT to go through life like this, living for weekends and missing him so much, and it really shouldn’t be that way! Our kids grow up too fast so we should really enjoy them before it’s too late.
