In the last 3 days, I've walked over 30k steps.
We had a convention at work that left me on my feet in the sun for hours. My nose is sunburnt :(. But at least I burned a ton of calories. Lol.
I weighed in at 166 again today. It's gonna drop soon!

What’s up you guys! Sunday Funday 😎 yesterday i joined @forrestfit_ at Training Zone to get in a killer Back/Bicep workout with @robinson.mas & @brennanxwright . Make sure to drop them a follow, They got some dope content as well & hella chill dudes! The past 2 days I’ve switched my cardio up a tad bit & did the stair master for 30 minutes with Forrest💀. It literally looks like you dumped a bucket of water on both of us once completed 😂 the stair master is no joke. Just 42 days until I make my final Summer Shredding video 😎😎 hope everybody had a good weekend about to hit round 2! 💪🏻

For the broccoli rice
4 cups broccoli florets about 2 small crowns
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, minced
1 green onion thinly sliced, white and green parts separated
For the Sauce
¼ cup hoisin sauce
¼ cup water
1 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seed oil
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
For the beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced across the grain
Salt and pepper, to taste
1. To make the riced broccoli, process the broccoli florets in a blender or food processor until you get a riced texture. Heat a pan with olive oil on medium, add the garlic and the white parts of the green onions and fry until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Add the riced broccoli to the mixture and toss together until the broccoli slightly softens, about 2-4 minutes. Divide the broccoli between 4 bowls and wipe clean the pan with a paper towel
2. To make the sauce, whisk together the ingredients in a small bowl or a small blender. Set aside.
3. To cook the steak, season with salt and pepper. Then heat the pan used for broccoli rice with olive oil on medium-high. Place the steak strips on the pan in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side to brown each steak strip. You many need to cook in batches. Add the sauce to the steak and reduce the heat to low. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, stirring to coat and allowing the sauce to thicken.
4. Serve the steak on top of the riced broccoli, and garnish with the green parts of the green onions and red pepper flakes.
Keep healthy snacks around you. Keep a small, healthy snack in your car if you have a hard time staying away from the drive-thru. If you work in an office, a bowl of fresh fruit on your desk gives you a healthy snack and a good reminder of your goals.

Chicken, spaghetti, onions, pepper, tomatoes, oil, garlic.
Recipe: Pour the oil into a frying pan and put it on medium fire. Breast and vegetables are cut into cubes and put into a frying pan as shown in the video. Add salt, spices. We fill with boiling water (boiling water should cover vegetables). Close the lid and leave it for 10-15 minutes to stew on medium heat! ..stir pasta so that they do not stick. As the pasta is prepared, we add cherry tomatoes cut into halves cheese rubbed on the grater, and basil to taste!❤️

What’s the link between Alzheimer’s and diabetes? ⠀
Well, new research shows insulin resistance, or what I call diabesity (from eating too many carbs and sugar and not enough fat) is one of the major factors that starts the brain-damage cascade, which robs the memory of over half the people in their 80s, leading to a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.⠀
Here’s the bad news/good news. ⠀
Eating sugar and refined carbs can cause pre-dementia and dementia. But cutting out the sugar and refined carbs and adding lots of fat can prevent, and even reverse, pre-dementia and early dementia. Sugar causes pre-diabetes and diabetes, which often leads to significant memory loss. ⠀
Chronic stress takes a toll on your body and brain. Stress shrinks the hippocampus, the memory center of the brain. So, find your pause button every day and make time for some stress relief. Relaxation isn’t a luxury if you want to prevent or reverse dementia. Whether that involves deep breathing, meditation, or yoga, find something that helps you calm down. ⠀
Lack of sleep can cause impaired brain function, leading to CRAFT syndrome, which stands for “can’t remember a _____ thing.” Studies show poor sleep becomes a risk factor for cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease. Aim for at least 8 hours of quality sleep every night.⠀
We now know that physical activity can prevent and even slow down the progression of cognitive decline and brain diseases like dementia. Even a 30-minute walk can help. More active readers might want to incorporate high-intensity interval training or weight lifting. #healthnut

My name is Jenn!
I started my health journey 5 months ago and I have officially lost 72 pounds 🙂
