🧜🏻♀️ I got asked why I post so many pictures of the ocean. Great question friend!
💗The Ocean for me represents freedom, expansion and life. The waves are like the breath of the earth. 🤘🏻I can literally feel the vibes whenever I’m standing on the Ocean’s shore and I connect with it.
🧜🏻♀️ I feel trapped in the city often. Smells of pollution, people stressed out in traffic, the pace of life in the city is enough to leave anyone feeling exhausted. In every city I’ve lived in near the beach life slows down. People are happier. Not to mention the pacific isn’t exactly hard on the eyes! She’s quite the beauty! 💋
💗 I post pics of the beach because I am there all of the time!! It is the place where I connect most with earth, wind, fire, water, self and the universe. Simple as that. ✨
💥 NEW Piece Release 💥
Have you ever found yourself doodling in a notebook where one doodle spurs on another with no real plan, just a stream of consciousness or unconsciousness coming out of your pencil? Silence evolved from just this type of process; 100% spontaneously up until the point of refinement.
Spencer worked on this piece over 8 months jumping back and forth between this and other pieces. His goal with this piece was to explore whatever direction his brush lead him. Nothing he painted was sacred; therefore some seemingly good concepts were covered up in favor of the idea of the moment.
Although he has thoughts about the meaning of this piece, his desire is to stay silent and leave it open to your interpretation. But... not everything is what it appears to be.
Prints are available in the gallery upon special request or online using the link in our bio!
This is a series of images I took during the production of a @topsagency commercial for @mismackcosmetics.
It featured @sunn.taylor as the model, @hairbydesireethring, makeup by @mismackcosmetics.
The purpose of the commercial was to show the biodrgrable, corn starch-based glitter in nature, because after it’s use, it would return to nature.
The shoot itself had more problems then I’ve ever encountered on a set. After months of planning and getting everyone together, none of the visual effects I wanted would work. The sun was too low when I wanted a slitted-light shot. The wind was too strong to use light filtered fabric to cast interesting shadows on her skin.
All in all it was a lesson in patience and ego, always remembering that mother earth is our master and we can’t always plan for the weather.
But boy was it ever fun! The sun was shining, we saw deer prancing along the park and we still got some great footage 🙌
Hey everybody! We just tapped this specialty draft only mead in our Tap Room and will be sending it out into distribution next week!! Come by our Tap Room to get a first preview this weekend or keeps your eyes out to get some starting next week!
