You can’t reap what you haven’t sowed.
Did you catch that? You can’t reap what you haven’t sowed.
You want to reap the rewards of a healthy lifestyle? Then you actually have to sow healthy eating habits and healthy body movement.
You want to reap the rewards of working from home and owning your own business? Then you have to sow hard work, diligence, and persistence, and have a plan of how and when you’re going to sow and stick to that plan.
You want to reap the rewards of conquering your mountains and achieving your goals? Then you have to sow the hard work, time, and perseverance that it’ll take to get there. There is no other way.
And remember, how and what exactly you sow is what you’ll reap. You sow good habits every day, you’ll reap very good results. You sow good habits occasionally, you’ll reap mediocre results. Some good will poke through, but not nearly as much as you could’ve had. And if you sow bad habits, you’ll reap bad results. Simple as that.
A couple of years ago, my husband and two of our friends decided to climb Machu Picchu Mountain in Peru. We planned on only climbing a little bit of it, so we did zero prep and only packed a few snacks and some water. But we actually ended up climbing the whole way up because we kept thinking that we were closer to the top than we were, and we thought we’d make it there sooner than we did. And we did get to the top; we reaped the results of our mediocre sowing. But it took a lot more blood, sweat, tears, and heavy breathing than if we had just sowed better habits of preparing for that climb from the beginning. The reaped result was worth the treacherous climb, but it could’ve been even better.
If you want to reap all those things you keep wishing for and talking about, then you need to sow the hard work and good habits to get there. You can’t reap what you didn’t sow.
Today #iam sowing good habits for my future. What good habits are you sowing today? Let me know below!
PACK UP & GO GET YOURSELF SOME 'ME TIME'. YOU DESERVE IT!
As women we too often push too hard for too long just because we convince ourselves we arent doing enough. Well guess what? You are! Slow and steady wins the race, so slow down and make time for self care. Also, one shower alone or bubble bath doesnt count as self care. (It's better than nothing, but you need much more than that.) Go get lunch by yourself, go to the movies by yourself, go shopping by yourself, go on a picnic by yourself! 🌼 ...............................................................................
There is power & peace in moments where we are alone to think, regroup, and rest. I have not been doing enough of that lately and I'm feeling it. So, I packed up and went out for a few hours by myself today and I already feel refreshed. Don't take care of everyone else and then yourself. Take care of yourself, and everyone else after.🌸 ...............................................................................
P.S. There is a SWEET giveaway happening over on my business account @shopfitmiss , go check it out to win BIG! 🙌🏻

We all have a choice on what to focus on in any one person or situation. It’s easy to find something to complain about because most people’s minds are wired that way. Focusing on the positives takes a lot of conscious effort until it becomes a way of being. So this means our perspective determines how we interpret everything. Our perspective will determine how we label a person or situation. How we chose to label or frame a situation will determine the emotion we attach to it or them. If you are feeling strong emotions towards anyone or any situation I invite you to step back and label the emotions you are feeling and notice if there is a pattern of that or those emotions. So next time you are feeling a strong emotion towards a situation or person ask your self what is really going on. Be honest with yourself and maybe then you will understand yourself better and why this emotion is provoked. Any emotion we tend to feel often is the place where we live. If you find yourself living in a pattern of painful emotions try and explore what is behind this. If you find yourself living in a pattern of pleasant emotions then your on the way to living in joy. Which means you are searching for what is pleasant, and good which ultimately leads to living in a more peaceful joyful state.
